Sarabhai V/S Sarabhai (2004–2017)

One of the Best Comedy Show till Date

This show is one of the best we had on Indian television. It has great writing, great direction, great acting, great comic timing specially by Satish Shah one of the legend in Television Comedy. Satire and hypocrisy on the "high class" of Indian society is very well presented.

Show has several running gag all throughout the season like rosesh's poetry, indravadan's childish prank, Maya's sophistication and hypocrisy, Monisha's middle class habits and stuck between them is Sahil. Great thing is even if these gags are repeated multiple times it is written in such a beautiful manner that you will never be bored from it. in fact each time this will make you laugh.

I have seen this show multiple time after it went off air on youtube and still watch them whenever feeling bored.

I will recommend it to everyone to give it a try. Giving it 9 out of 10 only because they did not produce second season even though at the end they hinted that they might come up with second season.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013–2020)

Slow start but promising

This show starts very slow with all the back stories like cleaning up the mess created with the fight in Thor 2, bit of of back story on the super soldiers in Iron man 3. initially I thought it will only will be behind the scene story from the movies. It catches up very late mostly after 15-16 episode when HYDRA is revealed in Captain America wither soldier and It feels nice to see how those two are combined greatly. after that story is unfold show becomes very good. Show has good visuals, great story line to build on after captain America winter soldier which is mostly based on that how Shield's greatest enemy is HYDRA. You have to be bit patient with the show since it has very slow start. All the episodes in season 2 so far are very good. I recommend it to every marvel fan.

Hunter x Hunter (2011–2014)

Great Show....

I started watching it on the recommendation of some random guy from online forum and that turned out to be best decision I have made on some show. It starts out little slow. first 3-4 episodes are mostly character introduction and some silly fights. but once hunter examination arc begins it picks up very quickly. Best thing about anime 2011 reboot is there is no filler episode. It truly follows manga. it has some gore but that is not unnecessarily done. if you sit through even 4-5 episodes then you will get up after finishing up the show itself. Although currently show is on hiatus after last arc because it caught with manga and I hope it starts very quickly. I absolutely recommend it.

3 Idiots (2009)

One of the best Indian film industry has offered.

Brilliant movie. One of the best in what Indian film industry offered in past decade. Some of the scenes are taken from the book Five Point Someone by writer Chetan Bhagat but the plot is completely different and far better than the book. Movie is not only hilarious but also inspirational. This movie questions our current education system not only in India but also worldwide and suggests that what following a passion could lead to. Screenplay, Acting is superb. Aamir Khan is as usual brilliant but we also see noticeable performance from Madhvan, Sharman Joshi and Kareena Kappor. The person who has impressed me most is Boman Irani. He had been brilliant in this movie. Definitely worth a watch. Giving it 9 out of 10 only because Rang De Basanti was better than this.

Whitney (2011–2013)

Not as bad as ranting suggest

Some ratings does not truly reflect about the show. This show is not that bad. Initial few episodes are slow but it progresses quite well at the middle of season 1. Season 2 is much more promising than season 1. They ended it well on a high note. However there are some episodes where actors overreact but overall show is worth watching. It does not have deep sarcastic comedy like Arrested Development but writing is still good. It could have run for few more years. too bad they had too finish it probably rating might be the issue still you can give it a try if you want to see a light comedy show without deep thinking involved. I will give it 8 out of 10.
