Kinda Married Like (2024)
Nice movie
I enjoyed the movie; the script and acting aligned well with the production, demonstrating how creativity can elevate a low-budget film. The actors infused their own personalities into the storyline, enhancing moments where the plot intersected with familiar themes from other movies.
I'm intrigued about the sequel, as the notion of turnabout being fair play resonates, and we shouldn't condone selfishness even though forgiveness is crucial. Devon's unwavering integrity in honoring his vows and promises during separation sets a powerful example, illustrating how a new perspective can breathe fresh life into a stagnant relationship.
Maintaining creativity is key, and it would be exciting to see an unexpected twist in the sequel's conclusion. Such a twist could encourage married couples to value and appreciate their spouses more, inspiring them to find ways to reignite the spark in their relationships. Stepping out of one's comfort zone to do so can prevent the temptation of seeking excitement elsewhere, where boredom may resurface.
Abort (2023)
A movie that gets better
The initial phase involved ironing out the kinks. Around the 15-minute mark, the dynamics become more pronounced, revealing the true characters. While there are still a few challenging moments, Monica showcases her ability to tolerate issues and make personal sacrifices without complaint. However, her challenge lies in understanding how to have both personal and professional fulfillment.
Hoping for the next segment to allow Monica and Kyle to thrive with both personal and business success, fostering families that embody equality.
In Black families, the significance of creating a legacy is often diluted by not integrating family into the financial succession and contributing to that financial gain. We tend to achieve financial success, making life easier for the next generation, but leaving them to figure out how to build upon it without the battle scars and experience to do so.
The upcoming segment(s) could serve as a noteworthy continuation, offering a positive example of overcoming these challenges.
Eagerly looking forward.
