Revelation Road: The Beginning of the End (2013)
Haters gonna hate
The low ratings are... as you likely imagined, from angry non-Christians. They are not accustom to sentences with no F Bombs...and at least one or two nipple shots.
But it does portray the struggles of mankind. It's cool and fun. Good action too. I really enjoyed it... But then again, I don't hate Christians....
The motorcycle gang premise was admittedly kind of strange... but not enough to be bad. In fact, the movie actually gets better as it goes along.
I didn't realize Brian Bosworth was in the movie until it was over---a stark reminder that we all age. (I never cared for The Boz-- but I like him now.)
One of the highlights (surprises) was the appearance of Bruce Marchiano---who has done remarkable work portraying Jesus in other movies like THE ENCOUNTER (highly recommended btw).
David White has become a powerful force behind Christina movies in real life settings. God bless him.
Now I cannot wait for the Part 2.
Unthinkable (2010)
Politically correct left wing nonsense
It start out kinda cool.....then the movie started.
Its seems they were absurdly attempting to generate some type of sympathy for the "American' terrorist, who had converted to Islam. Did female Agent Kumbaya actually end up adopting the terrorist's kids?
Samuel L. Jackson plays 'the official government torturer.' Jam packed full of chopping off fingers, electrocutions, and of course everyone's favorite...waterboarding.
With teary eyes...FBI Agent Kumbaya pleads with the terrorist to cooperate to stop the torture.
The terrorist won't cooperate so of course Sammy kills the terrorist's wife (cuts her throat) and would have killed the kids too...but he was stopped.
Of course our military is always portrayed as the bad guys....
Another asinine political statement from those who make a living at pretending in a land of make-believe.
Hollywood is a joke.
Final Approach (2007)
A glaring expose of Hollywood
A virtual 'who's who' of almost-famous actors... I did not rate it as 'awful' because of the unintentional comedic aspects... But in this jewel, Hollywood demonstrates its absurdly delusional grasp of the politically correct to avoid reality. AGAIN---instead of the terrorists being portrayed as 'radical Muslims' which have actually engaged in ALL reported hijackings in recent decades---the terrorists are contrived and overly exaggerated Hollywood caricatures of conservatives, LOL...
But while there IS a middle eastern man...who tries to help...the plane is actually saved by Ernie Douglas (My Three Sons) and Superman (Deano).
Then we have "Growing Pains" chick (Tracy Gold) starring as an action- reporter, while 'Back to the Future''s Lea Thompson is utterly masterful at the absurd.
It was also freakishly uncanny how much Ms Thompson looks like the "old version' of herself from 'Back to the Future"
And the computer generated airplane & sky used were laughably sophomoric.
Bravo Hollywood. LOL
