Criminal Minds: Safe Haven (2010) Season 6, Episode 5

Not one of the best episodes.

The child playing the unsub was over acting. This weird side plot of Morgan and Ellie made no sense. Over all it feels like a filler episode but for no reason. And this trend over the last few season of reveling the unsub immediately is a bit off putting. It almost make me feel disengaged from the episodes as I already know the outcome

Black Christmas (2019)

If you like "good" bad films...

All I could think the whole time was "is it supposed to be laughably bad? By the time I bad it to the last 15 minutes I was Laughing my *** off. Being an 80's baby that grew up on these terrible slasher films I knew what to expect. But nothing could have prepared me for the end. It reminded me of the scene in Thor:Ragnarock when they all fought Hela.

Uncut Gems (2019)

Sandler is great, that's about it

This movie was so all over the place. The end was predictable from the first 15 minutes. I felt like I wasted 2 hours of my life. Considering all the hype this movie got I was surprised at how bad I found it. Sandler though have a phenomenal performance as a character you'll love to hate. He could have toned down the screaming but then again it is Sandler. It's like happy Gilmore is how a late 40'something working in the diamond district

A Taxi Driver (2017)

Absolutely Amazing film.

Acting is incredible. Story is emotional. I typically shay away from foreign language films as I do not have the attention span go watch and read simultaneously for 2 hours. But this film had me captured the entire time. From beginning to end. I found myself crying and laughing at the same time. It managed to inject humor into a very tragic incident. I would implore people who do not speak Korean to give this film a watch, you will not be disappointed

Aladdin (2019)

Worth a watch

I found this movie very enjoyable. Yes, some of the musical numbers were a bit cheesy but it stayed true to the original and the chosen actors for the main characters were spot on. Specifically Will Smith as Genie. He paid tribute to Robin William's performance without trying to recreate it. I appreciated the fact that Aladdin and Jasmine more a bit more covered up then their animated counterparts and that they used ethnic appropriate actors.

The Irishman (2019)

Every Scorsese flick rolled into one

Narration by main character..check. Flash back scenes... Check. Usually cast of characters... Check. The only person missing was Ray Liotta. It was a decent film. Typical storyline of any MS film. I could have done without 3 1/2 hrs of it though.

Captain Marvel (2019)

You're in the 90'ssssss. While I did like the film, it was so heavy handed with decade references. Captain America wasn't playing the Andrew's Sisters every 10 minutes and we knew when it was taking place. I'm not sure why there was such emphasis on the time period as it didn't matter to the story line. Other than maybe where Nick.Fury was in his career. Other than that I liked seeing the origin story of Carol Danvers being that she is relatively new to the MCU. The best part was waiting to see how Fury looses his eye.

Lady and the Tramp (2019)

Great movie despite some changes

Wonderful remake. Stays pretty true to the original. Although the omission of Si and Am changes a main part of the story. I understand that the Jerry Lee Lewis fake Asian voice of the original was def rasist, but they could have stayed in the film with their song without the voices. Also Tramp being hurt in the end and a now female Jock {Jacque originally} was an unnecessary change IMO. I felt the rest was great and am looking forward to many more viewings.

Fahrenheit 451 (2018)

I knew 5 minutes in...

This was going to be bad.... The line " you dream of running from me, you wake up and apologize" (Or something like that) made me think that I didn't know if I could make it through this movie. Which is a shame because I really like both lead actors. Maybe the director just didn't direct them correctly but Ray Bradbury must be turning in his grave at this retelling. I've seen the movie Equilibrium which is loosely based on the book, and while it's no masterpiece it is boatloads better than this
