How I Met Your Mother: Last Forever: Part Two (2014)
Logic, but awfully planned.
The end is so poorly executed that in the mind of the viewer it stand out unacceptable. Unlike many reviewers, I see the logic in how it ends but they made an awful effort to show it rightly to us... 1st, Barney and Robin's divorce... I get it, they weren't the perfect fit but c'mon, after spending 22 episodes at their wedding, and 4 seasons developing their romance, there should have been at least one entire episode devoted to explain why they did not work out and NOT A 2 MINUTE SCENE that does not show/explain anything. 2nd. the mother... after 8 seasons in which the "mother" had not yet been introduced, I basically lost any interest on her. I never ever liked neither the actress or the character, she was dull . Given the meaningless end the creator had in mind for her I can say they didn't put a lot of effort in developing her. That's why I never got fond of her, she was just a lame stock character that did not deserve being in the story at all. Ted himself apparently didn't even care much about her since the story is about the gang and not the mother... Again, why did it take that long to introduce the "mother"? Finally Ted and Robin together is yet comprehensible; too much time passes and they find themselves widow, and divorced. I don't see that as a necessarily as a weak move but the way it is showed, just after we get to know about Robin's divorce and Ted's wife fate gives us a bitter taste in our mouth... This end needed a lot more air time to be developed properly, instead we get 22 episodes about a meaningless wedding.
Knock Knock (2015)
The screenwriter a porn actor, or a monkey????
This is the worst movie I've watched in years, a huge pack of nonsense and embarrassment. It feels like a porn movie plot all the way just without porn scenes, I don't know what the Director thinks about this idiocy, did he watch this before releasing? I mean, if you want to run a satire do it all the way, it's not clear if this movie is meant to be funny which I guess it's the point... and it is NOT...Its upsetting, the death of that guy...well in fact most of the movie is upsetting and it's outrageous to see actors and producers spend money to do this and I expect they don't profit out of this wacky film... Let alone Keanu Reeves...
La vie d'Adèle (2013)
Existentialism vs. Essence
It's an engaging film where both main actresses play astonishing acting, they are REAL TALENTED! A simple storyline depicts little by little the personality of Adele and Emma in everyday, non contrived scenes that make the film develop a sense of credibility/reality. Adele proves to be a persuadable girl of dubious sexuality up to that point in life and after reading a passage in a book about love at first sight, she convinces herself she has that feeling when she comes across a blue hair girl on her way to a first date. Honestly I don't think Adele is Essentially a lesbian but as mentioned above she is moved by fixed ideas she's just set on her mind and ACTS in consequence but later we'll find out why Emma falls out with her. It's also of importance the quick, clear portrait of Adele's family we get into the dinner scene from where we should ask ourselves: Is Adele following her real lifelong passion or is she ,again, influenced by familiar paradigms when she chooses teaching.(a stable job) Is she being truthful to her own feelings or partially bogus?
On the other hand we have Emma, with a way more "straight" character, in the sense she acts what she is, there's no half measures with her, What she DOES is what she IS. She feels no shame in admitting her homosexuality and her relationships towards parents is sincere and smooth, different to that of Emma. Her essence is set forth so unmistakably that, I think she lives a happier life than many sham people-.
