House of the Dead (2003)
Good on many different levels...
Im not a big "B" film fanatic, i dont even think this falls in the B film genre, does it? Anyway, i watched this movie because i was pretty bored and didnt have high expectations, but im glad i DID see it rather than passing it up looking for something i thought was better. First off, i personally thought the filming of the action scenes was pretty damn good, kind of the "Matrix" panoramic trick, with something added and just the next step better, next.... the soundtrack was very kick-@ss and seemed to fit the movie very well...... another thing i like is unknown actors as main characters and a couple "known" actors sorta helping out.... was the acting award-winning, maybe not, but who cares, it was enjoyable..... next and perhaps the best was the BOOBIES, some very hot chicks goin topless and lookin fantastic doin it, wish the asian chick did, but she held her own in that super-fine red-white-blue one-piece outfit.
Beyond the Limits (2003)
Total waste of time.
Im not sure what was worse, the acting or the plot. The ending was as un-climatic as it can get, this is one of those movies where you keep waiting for it to get better in the next 5 minutes and never does and you end up hating yourself for sitting through the entire movie instead of doing something useful with your life like clipping your toe nails or clipping coupons out of the local newspaper.
The SFX were better than any other facet of this lil gem, but as awful as the movie is, that isnt saying much.
Big Man on Campus (1989)
It's a MUST have for my movie collection...
Comedy Central [cable channel] played this several times one year, and everytime i saw it i liked it MORE.... took me awhile to finally aquire it, but i got it now [VHS only]. The story and the charactors flow well and pretty soon you like the hunchback so much your tempted to name your first born "Bob Maloogaloogaloogaloogalooga "..... well... maybe not THAT much.
