So her husband just gave up on her and is noe shagging staff back in the USA?

The brother, now working for a fish monger, just disappeared for a few episodes?

The first rescue, well, so many bizarre contrived plot devices. Right, so the rescuing soldiers just disappeared, the bad guys just appeared and they snatched her back. Huh

and the brother is now a drunk in backwater Columbia

But they're "real bad" special forces. LOL

I'm up to episode 6. Bambi and the top-husband-CIA just appeared in nowhere Columbia after how many months?

This is pointless. Meandering, lazy writing. Contrived plot devices. One dimensional characters

Am I meant to care for ANY of these people?

This film is FAR from perfect.

And some aspects hurt. Like those lips

But I just watched episodes 1 & 2 of Mr and Mrs Smith. This was better

Alright that's a low bar. But this was better written, and characters with some actual character

The film is ham, and aside from the ladies and Leigh majors I think most everyone knew it.

If any involved in the production took this too seriously Then yeah maybe they do need to have a look at themselves objectively

but If they just wanted to make a film to entertain old dogs sitting down at night who want to watch a movie and be entertained then I think they hit the mark

Don't expect much and you might find it Better entertainment than a lot of High budget stuff on the streaming channels.

Admittedly I'm only one episode

this is the first episode, but I've tried to give it the benefit of the doubt.

But when it's this boring theres not much you can do with it

There's no need for it to be this slow and boring

Why did they run after the explosion? That was just a plot device for a toilet scene.

I have no idea where this is going.

There's nothing wrong with the main characters they're just boring

they've called it Mr ans Mrs Smith.

Edit: just endured episode 2. Bwahahahahahaha. This is some of the most pathetic television ever made.

Television has hit rock bottom

There are very few redeeming features.

It's been a wreck of a series, and progressively getting worse

Walker Texas Ranger. TJ Hooker bad episodes bad

An episode of C. H. I. P.s would have more depth

..............

I think I asking have to use Jason Patrick as a guide.. if he is in it, just avoid

They didn't male much of an effort with this series.

And there are clearly some terrible, terrible actors getting work in Hollywood

The hemchmen in an episode of Scooby Doo or Batman TV series have no depth and believability to them.

Don't bother with this. Avoid. Pass.

Monster Hunter (2020)

Why make her short sighted, pointlessly vindictive?

I'm at the point where she is in the cave and has just destroyed the man's gods. Pointlessly.

Everything else I'm going to write now is just filling the characters for this ridiculous 600 character requirement the website now has and all it's doing is making reviews unneccesarily and overly long.

Other than that it could have been good but I just feel we've wasted time unnecessarily stuff that could have been edited out to progress the plot and 43 minutes and basically nothing much has ...basically wasted 15 minutes

I have a feeling not much more is going to happen in this film.

Falling flat in the mid point here.

So much swearing. Needless.

Such Terrible, Terrible writing. Throw in swearing because you don't know how to develop your protagonist

Every cliche. Hey it's a mystery but I'll just stand in the street and shout at you and level all kinds of crazy accusations at you.....whuch if they are true also mean you're some space time warping alien and therefore my life is in jeopardy l.

I don't understand how her character spent the entire series with a frown on her head and a tone and demeaner that was like listening to fingers run down a blackboard - unbearable to watch.

As for the dope in the house well I lost interest in him in the second episode. Such a terrible actor or a terrible character. Just boring boring boring.

Let me summarise this series in one sentence: One person or group of people came up with an interesting idea, after the green light the story writers didn't know what to do with that.

Santo (2022– )

I have NO idea what this is about

It makes no sense.

I'm currently in the second episode and I have no idea who half the characters are all what is going on it seems to be well filmed and maybe well acted but I've got no idea are there two bearded men or three bearded men is the Twist to the bad guys I don't know who the women are wasn't his girlfriend or wife who I thought lived in another country killed and now she's alive I have absolutely no idea what's going on

Somehow we go from the end of episode 1 and he's in a hole in the ground in episode 2 in another country I assume they're gonna do filling some gaps in future episodes but I just have no idea what country which actor is in and who they are.

Nicolas Cage has a lot to be embarrassed about, this one wouod make even Adam Sandler and Seth Rogan ashamed.

Virus-32 (2022)

Really enjoyed it just hated the mother and daughter

I almost liked the ending but instead of dying afinstead ng foot stomped we went to the beach for an out of place retrospective moment, and then somehow the mother was still alive.

Shame they cast the wrong person for mother- poorly overacted, and the girls character was just pathetic.

I never knew time stands still when you're in a corridor either.

The Outfit (2022)

He acted it so well for the role, and it was just an enjoyable film with a good storyline

It was an insult from start to finish.

Best watched in extreme fast forward, if one is forced to have to watch it for any empirical reason.

Hollywood STILL has a lot to answer for.

Word fill for the sake of it.

Those fish at the beginning could have written the 2md half better.

And the sun sets in 30 seconds?

If there were 2 writers the one who wrote the 2md half is a spud.

I'm up to the point in episode 2 where the evil white male is offering the victim female she can have her phone back

This show has gone nowhere.

It is a waste of time and so far seems to be a hate piece on straight, white men.

Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City (2021)

Skip the 1st 30 minutes, if you're into RE or zombies the rest isn't too bad

The first 30 minutes was arguably some of the worst celluloid I have ever watched. I had no idea what it was about, why..what...who... why would I care?- it was just terrible.

The film became watchable once the tanker exploded and the zombies appeared...no surprise there

Considering the context of this film they pulled off a pretty good zombie splatterhouse experience.

Volcano: Fire on the Mountain (1997 TV Movie)

Formulaic And entertaining

Obviously not a cinema standard film or a blockbuster, but an easy watch.

Station Eleven (2021–2022)

Someone was owed a big favour to get this utopian yawnfest greenlighted

Basically, it seems to have no point. It had real potential, but E2 when the Kumbaya Caravan appeared and showed us that was where the series is headed, well I'm out of there

Yawned my way through E2 then fast forwarded through E3 in 5 minutes- all flashback to a character that died before the event.

I fully expect there to be a Polar Bear in E4 lucky for me I'll never know

My main question is, who sits in a room with another 20 people going over the script and doesn't ponder is it both plausible that an audience would watch this and be entertained? Who is the intended viewer here? Fellow thespians? I think that is what we have here, an intellectual chest beat to peers from the production community, "look what I can do"

I would not be surprised to learn that someone who filmed a hair shampoo commercial that was designed to screen in 70 countries was asked to add a create a series about hope through literature in a post-virus landscape.

And there's nothing odd about a theatre letting a 10 year old girl walk around in the snow with a confused man with anxiety recognisable for jumping on stage and....doing nothing.

Preppers (2021)

Had potential....then they made it a vehicle for Charlie

The Rhythm Section (2020)

We get it. She's a an addicted drunk prostitute and thief- at rock bottom because of the accident

And inside 2 minutes she's robbing the journo, selling his stuff, has a gun, finds the terrorist, can't shoot him, loses her bag with all the information, they find the journo's place and he's now dead. So we're 1/3rd of the way in, still no Jude Law an still in Scene 2 Act 1

I'll pass. Lazy writing, detestable antagonist with cliche issues. I don't believe I have anything to gain doing the next hour I'm going to bed.

Fires (2021– )

One of the low points of Australian Television

I'm guessing the writers of this contrived drivel, have never seen a fire. Never been to the country, never spoken to a fire crew. Maybe they've held a sparkler or two on New Years Eve in Newtown

I feel embarrassed for those who are, and live in fire prone regions, at the portrayals of everyone in this diabolical series. CFS/ RFS must be screaming at the tellie watching this.

It is so poorly written, so horribly acted, so widely relayed to actual fires, that it hurts to watch. The triggerwarning does not go far enough

The continuity is unbearable. The lack of professionalism in that is unacceptable and makes a mockery of the suspense they are trying to create. Episode after episode - 5 minutes reading the script and a work experience kid would note the many glaring errors that needed to be corrected, and that are for crucial narrative points

This series is a how to NOT do it. And it has very little to do with "fires"...which don't seem to present much of a threat to life...everyone gets out alive.

If I were a writer on this I'd want my name off of this.

We watch it to laugh at it. We don't go more than a minute to have another head scratch moment or laugh at the screen moment.

What's sad, is that it had real potential. But for god knows what reason, the producers and writers had to make this a human intersonal angst drama. I truly would prefer to watch an episode of Patrol Boat.

The depth if this writing is not even that of the bushfire episode of Skippy from 50 years ago

With the budget, audience and what they had to work with, how could they have gotten this so wrong?

The Guilty (2021)

I was bored. He was mean to everyone. I think he was just a straight up a hole

The athsma inhaler is a pathetic plot device too. Just stop with them

I won't comment on how selfish his final d3cisiom was either.

Vigil (2021– )

Take out the 2 policemen and was okay

Episode 6 was a joke

Russian spy wandering around a nuclear submarine, followed by same guy with a knife chasing a psychotic policewoman around

The rest was okay. Lightweight weekend writing effort if this was the same guy who wrote Bodyguard

I could not care less for the lead and her girlfriend or their love story.

Black Widow (2021)
