Jailer (2023)
Waste of time, space & Everything else
The movie is so slow that, even fast-forward dosent help. It's like a never ending stretch of a chewing gum.
Its like the movie is just waiting for the lead to transform and when he does, its so appalling to watch. The younger version of the lead, looks like a wannabe and comical than. Strong character.
Adding in other veterans, doesn't really help and just causes more boredom and deviates from the lead's persona and character building.
The story telling and extravagance nowadays are more into action & punches & score.
This is a movie to avoid completely, as you will start loosing faith in Cinema and story tellers.
Cobra (2022)
Way too many ideas & Inspirations, have been dumped in a yard called COBRA.
Movie: All that glitters is not gold, it could also be an aluminum foil as well.
Director: Looks like a tons of Concepts & Ideas and inspirations are being dumped into one single making it as a dump yard or whole lot of things.
Story: It could have been focused on an Assassin type story line, like the 1997 movie The Jackal, which I think was an inspiration behind the Cosplay, but it was thrown in all other directions. Elaborated assassination attempts with sheer stupid elements and the WOW factor is missing.
Vikram: WHY? Why would you choose this script? I understand this allows you to Cosplay and play characters, but it doesn't justify your caliber as an actor, when the whole movie is like a scrambled Egg. Kindly look into stories and script, that focuses on simple scripts.
Sundari Gardens (2022)
Could have been better.
The movie is kinda dragging and boring. They could have done way better with more emotional scenarios and life search scenes.
I am unable to connect with the romantic pairs as they lack chemistry and the movie just jumps here and there with songs thrown everywhere and loads of wine.
Jude: You need to find better roles. This one does not do justice for you.
Gardens? I was expecting more with nature, love for the surrounding and tharavadu. They just came in a few scenes.
The Male lead character lacks dept and does not add the much-needed impact. He just smiles and moves on like butter.
Overall it's very boring but a good attempt on certain social issues, which other film industries are scared to touch.
Pathaam Valavu (2022)

Malik (2021)
DISSAPOINTED
Am a Malayalee myself, and I love movies, so this is a heartfelt review and feedback.
Loaded with the best character artists in the film industry and the amount of time and money vested in this film, all I could see was opportunities missed.
Maybe I was comparing it with movies like Vadachennai and other underdog rises to power movies. Here I, was not able to feel the life of an underdog nor was I able to feel, him rising to power.
With a movie titled with a strong name of a character, I was not able to feel his power, neither was I able to feel sad for him.
I thought if the character Malik, was not up for it, they could have endorsed Roselyn, as the power behind or rising to power.
Chekka Chivantha Vaanam (2018)
WTF did i just watch
The only way i can imagine that Mani Ratnam is even remotely involved with this movie, if he is acting as one of the stuntman.
Background score looked like adding bleach to sanitize the infected areas, you cant bare them both.
Actors of such high caliber looked like rookies in a play, where the theater is empty and were still forced to act, coz they needed grades.
i couldn't sit through the movie and was just awestruck. Vijay sethupathi's role was just so irritating to watch, no sure where he lost his way..rest of them, were just in for the grades.
Bãhubali 2: The Conclusion (2017)
Its more of an extended jewelry advertisement.
Its more of an jewelry advertisement, was so horrible and everyone trips and falls allowing the hero to either come up with a plan or to showcase his CGI/ VFX talents.
The effects were overused, i could see shades of movie 300, Lord of the rings, Brave heart and few other scenes being copied. its a shame we still do it, even for a movie of this hype.
It felt like, i was held up in a cardboard box surrounded by gold, diamonds and Jewelry.Am done getting up my hopes on this kinda Cinema.
Suicide Squad (2016)
Sheer waste of boundless talent
Sheer waste of boundless talents.
It seems like Hollywood is going down the drain, running out of scripts, novels and comic characters.
Now all i can look forward is more and more comic character movies or remake of old ones or next installation.
I have a huge respect and a big Fan of Hollywood, ever since i was a little kid but i think its about time, they look into foreign language movies and their scripts.
am not sure if the rest of the population agrees with me but am pretty sure the movies now a days are forcing us to dust off old comic books and Mr. Stan Lee is cashing in big time.
Keeping my fingers crossed.
Kill Command (2016)
The Movie is like WALL-E amidst the pile of rubbish
I was very skeptical at first to watch a sci-fi with no big banner/ names or cast, but wanted to give it a try. I was so surprised that the team could come up with such an overused story line and execute it in a very different way.
The CGI or special effects or robots used were very convincing and well edited and directed by Steven Gomez, to show the world a much better view of a well known script.
I would advise anyone, who wants to see something new, refreshing, simple Sci-Fi based subject, this is the one for you. The BGM and acting along with machines and CGI will keep you on the edge of your seat yet craving for more. Thank you for reading.
