Bordertown (1989–1991)
Missed By Many

There's not much I can add to all the great comments here. Bordertown and The Campbells are two of my favorite television memories from the 80's, and I enjoyed them a lot more than half the stuff that's on today. It's impossible to find information on either show on the net, and I'm so glad I stumbled onto this site. Keep your fingers crossed, everyone, and maybe we'll be watching the marshal and the mountie on DVD someday soon.

The Campbells (1986–1990)
Great Television

This was a wonderful show; educational, entertaining, lively, well-acted, and one you could easily watch alone or with your whole family.

The basic premise concerned a scottish family who emigrated to Canada during the early 1800's. The characters were sympathetic and well-rounded; the episodes were well-written and interesting, with just the right dashes of occasional humor, suprise or suspense, etc.

The Campbells was one of the major bright spots for me during the 80's and I've been hoping for years that the show will come out on tape. If and when it does, I would strongly recommend it to anyone as a worthwhile viewing experience.
