The Leftovers (2014)
The Leftovers: A Profound Exploration of Loss and Identity
"The Leftovers" is a remarkable TV show that delves deep into the complexities of grief, loss, and the ever-evolving nature of human identity. Set against the backdrop of a world grappling with a mysterious event where a portion of the population vanishes without explanation, the show's dark and melancholic tone might seem daunting at first. However, beneath its somber exterior lies a powerful message of hope and self-discovery.
During my own difficult times, "The Leftovers" proved to be a beacon of understanding. It reminded me that it's perfectly acceptable not to have all the answers in life and that the journey of self-discovery is as important as any destination. The characters' struggles mirror the universal human experience of dealing with profound loss and the haunting uncertainty that accompanies it.
The strength of the show lies in its ability to explore the depths of human emotion. It doesn't shy away from the raw and often uncomfortable feelings that accompany grief, anger, and confusion. Through its compelling characters and intricate storytelling, "The Leftovers" invites viewers to reflect on their own lives and consider how they would react in the face of such a bewildering tragedy.
The series, created by Damon Lindelof and Tom Perrotta, masterfully balances its supernatural elements with the intimate, personal journeys of its characters. It underscores the importance of relationships, resilience, and adaptation as they confront the unimaginable. The hauntingly beautiful soundtrack and cinematography add to the show's overall impact, creating an immersive experience that lingers in the mind long after the final episode.
In conclusion, "The Leftovers" is a poignant and thought-provoking series that provides solace and understanding in the face of life's most challenging moments. It's a testament to the human spirit's capacity for resilience and growth, even when confronted with the most profound mysteries. This show not only helped me navigate my own difficult times but also enriched my perspective on the human condition. It's a must-watch for anyone seeking a deeper understanding of life's uncertainties and the profound transformation that can arise from them.
Ghosted (2023)
Nice comedy, cheap action
I liked the movie in general, however the action scenes were really poor and looks like a cheap movie production, sometimes i felt it's kind if "lazy" script.
In general, i just hate to be smarter than the director when I'm watching this type of movies, every one hates that.
They could have done better with the same budget but unfortunately they thought bringing some actors is enough for the movie.
The scene wher it should be in London were poorly made and it's obvious that they didn't bother to travel at least for london shooting, I understand why they didn't for pakistan and socotra.
Speaking of socotra, they just needed to follow them and could easily get the weapons out of the bad guys , i mean come on it's just an island , in case you are lazy to follow them you can easily see any plans landing or taking off.
I feel bad to see a movie with good potentials goes so wrong.

We should have a refund policy in movie theaters
This is exactly the type of movies that shows the need to have a refund policy in movie theaters, from the first minute you know you have been fooled to pay for it.
I have no idea how they allow such movies to be shown in public, this must be illegal.
Dexter: New Blood: Sins of the Father (2022)
Good idea, bad implementation
WARNING HEAVY SPOILER
I think it was a good idea to end Dexter forever, that should have been the ending of the original show, dying in a good way.
However, i feel that they didn't prepare for it enough, it's like "oh let's kill him at the end but we have no idea how to do it so let's add some drama and get him killed by his own son, that will open doors for new TV show."
I will rate this ending as 7/10 for the end of dexter, the rest three starts should be him sacrificing his life to do something good at the end.
Dexter: New Blood: The Family Business (2022)
If you the you know dexter, you might need to re consider
I've watched all previous seasons, i never release how f**ed up is dexter until this episode, I mean WT* did just happened.
I think it might be preparation for different path of the show, maybe next generation.
Space Jam: A New Legacy (2021)
Kids enjoyed it
When i go to watch a movie with my kids, I don't really care about the plot and actors, it's all about having fun.
Did we had fun? Yes actually my kid's enjoyed it and immediately downloaded the game on my Xbox.
I'm sorry for all Michael Jordan fan's who might think the movie isn't good enough for them, but as I said, we had fun time.

Don't watch it if you don't appreciate great acting
The time i went to watch the movie, rating was 6.2 and i was expecting poor action movie about a man seeking revenge and start to kill everyone in town without getting hurt.
I was shocked by the amazing act and the smooth storyline(boring for action lovers)
it's one of the movies that you keep thinking about it before you finally fall to sleep.
Elle Fanning Did really great act in here.
