Boiling Point (2021)
A good film about a lousy restaurant
Yes, acting was great, filmed in one shot, a lot of characters telling their own story each....
And the restaurant where guests are hearing screams from the kitchen, where staff brings you a dishes with their thumbs inside, where bottles of wine are just dropped on the table, red one for 200 pounds not decanted, white one even not chilled, where staff are paying more attention to their own problems, where a pleasant waitress says she will be serving your table and just disappears...
All this leaves a sense of irritation during all the film and you start to wonder is the Chef really worth anything...
The Way Back (2020)
No basketball, no acting
One of the worst films I saw this year.
There was no basketball, no coaching, no team with any personalities you can love.
There's was no drama. Just a hard work to convince me of it. Well, without any success. Besides, everything so predictable...
Acting was .... OK, no acting, just sad pretending...
Guys, did you saw this film actually? And you are rating it 9 or 10!!!!!!
I gave 5. Because I still like B.A. and know it was not him really sleepily moving from the beginning till the end of this film..
Angel Has Fallen (2019)
5 High Fives
Was looking with my wife. We had a great evening despite of 5 high fives we are giving each other when we are predicting the next twist or turn of the plot 1-2 minutes before it happens. That type of movie!. Nolte was really good... Waiting for a sequel No.4. It seems it will take another 3 years...? Let's hope agent Banning will maintain his physical form and pass the annual medical commission as an "guardian angel".
Once Upon a Time in Venice (2017)
7 out of 10
Really funny. Made my day. Don't like Ben Stiller and Adam Sandler type of fun, so this one was something really hilarious. It's good to see Bruce and John enjoying themselves. Sometimes John even reminded of "Big Lebowski". 7 out of 10 - well, Buddy was a little bit unconvincing.
All Nighter (2017)
Disappointing
Absolutely boring. I saw a trailer and it seemed like something worth seeing. First 20 minutes and it's obvious, that the trailer was the best part. J.K. Simmons was not enough, though he did his best. Ginnie and Martin were really bad. And all the exhibition of friends was not funny at all.
