The Walk (2015)
Joseph Gordon-Levitt ruined it for me
All of Joseph Gordon-Levitt's focus in this movie was on, see how French how look, how French I talk, he overacted trying to act French and I'm 45 min into the movie and I can't take it anymore, he is plain pathetic and I'm only reviewing it in hopes that American casting directors will stop making these kind casting jokes. I know a lot of people liked it, it's a compelling story. Direction is also weak, there's literally no character build up, maybe that's why Joseph Gordon-Levitt looked even more irritating and mostly everybody in this movie, you really don't know who they are besides their names etc. There are only 2 or 3 movies ever which I've left in the middle and this is one of them.
The Interview (2014)
Worst Seth Rogan movie
Trust all the bad review, we rented it online and started around 10pm lat night, it put my friend to sleep around 11, terrible, not even a single laugh, Franco didn't do justice to the host of nightly news show character, looked high the whole time while he was supposed to look witty. There's nothing funny about this movie, if this movie wouldn't have gotten all this hype, would have failed miserably. Ratings here are not real as most people didn't even see the movie and voted just to support free speech I guess, I'd prefer to write an actual review and save you some money and time and not to mention all the brain cells that you'll lose for forever after watching this piece of crap.
Dabangg (2010)
Salman is way too bigger than movies he acts in.
Salman is way too bigger than movies he acts in. It's always about Salman in his movies. He loves to play almost himself and adds his superstar persona in every role he does and people love it and only he can dare it. The only true star of bollywood, rest others are moons, they need good story, good producer and blah blah blah. If you are expecting drama dose with some character artists working in preachy subject or based on a true story or inspired by some popular book, watch something else. This is strictly Bollywood entertainment and the king is entertainment is at his best.
Salman is a corrupt but golden-hearted police officer in a small town of U.P. He dotes on his mother (Dimple) but hates his stepfather (Vinod Khanna) and stepbrother (Arbaaz Khan). He is at loggerheads with the local politician, Sonu Sood, who sets the two half brothers against one another. Sonakshi is Salman's love interest in the film.
What's Good: Salman Khan's performance; the songs, particularly Munni badnaam huyi and Tere mast mast do nain; the action and stunts; the humour.
What's Bad: Not bad, but the story offers absolutely no novelty.
Verdict: Dabangg will rock at the box-office. A sureshot and a huge hit!
