Stela (2020)
A missed opportunity
This movie had some good potential that went wasted. It had a chance to develop a good story, a Macedonian version of 'Heidi' if you'd like, showcasing the beauty of the nature, the culture and tradition of forgotten parts of Macedonia, while keeping the viewers intrigued with the future of the characters. Instead it delivered improperly edited, half-shot scenes, bellow average acting, and very obvious storyline. If you understand Macedonian their way of speaking was so weird and unnatural, not to mention completely missing the Galicnik dialect. We don't get many new Macedonian movies anymore, so missing the chance to make a good one is even more disappointing.
The Last of Us: Part II (2020)
The best game since The Last of Us
This game is simply amazing. Aside the original, it's the best game I have ever played. Yes the gameplay is quite similar to the original game, so nothing revolutionary there, but I see that as a good thing (the original gameplay was amazing) and there are some small improvements still.
Most people hate on the game due to the storyline. However anyone that really pays attention to storylines as much as I do, and really tries to put themselves in the situation of the characters, will truly appreciates this story. Take some time to think about what is going on in the minds of the characters and how the story evolves. The fact of how the story evolves, especially that huge event at the near start of the game, only makes the whole thing better. Just think about it, it's the best story twister, without it the game would probably ended up way too similar to the original and get boring fast.
Don't be haters and play the game with open mind. It's the perfect story for this post-apocalyptical world. Can't wait for part 3!
P. S. The animation, voice acting, music and sounds are out of this world.
Bad Blood (2017)
So terrible, so much lost potential
This show is so bad that I can't believe I actually watched it through - thank god it's just 2 seasons. And this comes from someone that loves crime/mafia/gangster stories. In fact I'm giving it 2 because season 1 was okay, and could have even been great, if they would only stick to what actually happened to the Rizzuto family. Instead they wrote terrible terrible story plots that only became much much worse in seasons 2. The plot development became so dumb and stupid that made absolutely no sense whatsoever. And on top of that the acting... Oh my god the acting was so cliche in the worst possible way, especially with the 2 ridiculous characters of Christian and Teresa. And the cherry on top - Kim Coates. I actually loved his performance of Tig Trager. I thought that performance was so remarkable, but now I realize that's just how Kim seems to behave in real life, since it's the same way he portrayed the role of Declan in this show. It was like Tig moved across the border and became a Canadian gangster.
Lethal Weapon (2016)
Season 3 ruined this show
Big Lethal Weapon (movies) fan here. When i first heard they are making series I was a bit skeptical. Then when I first watched Clayne Crawford as Riggs I was even more skeptical, after all he was portraying the character so differently than Gibson did, but the story was good and I went on watching. After a few episodes I got to love the show and really love Clayne's performance. There were some weak episodes here and there but the show was good and interesting overall, even with the weird, goofy, emotional Murtaugh. Which brings us to Damon Wayans performance and how the writers scripted the character in the series - HORRIBLE. I mean, as i mentioned before, this Riggs is also different than the movie version, but the character has depth, he has strong emotions, which he hides deeply with at times sarcastic behavior and suicidal actions. But this portrayal of Murtaugh is so bad that makes Danny Glover deserve an Oscar for every performance in all 4 movies. And on top of all, I actually enjoy this version of the Murtaugh family, especially Keesha Sharp, she's awesome.
All said, even with Wayans's awful portrayal of Roger, the show was good and i quite enjoyed it. And then you decided to fire Clayne, hire SWS in his place and at same time (I assume) replace the original writers with bunch of 5-year-olds. I mean what on Earth are you doing with this show??? Even though I hated the move with firing Clayne, I kept on watching, partly because i wanted to give the show a shot, and also because I don't like leaving things unfinished. But after the ridiculous storylines in the past few episodes (S3 e4-7) I am seriously considering stop watching this show. I'm not going to get into the details of what I mean by bad storylines because this review will end up being a book! Yes it's that bad! You managed to take a franchise such as LW and ruin it. Please just end the show and get another job!!!
(BTW I rate season one and two as 9, but season three as 0, so 6 on average...)
