Greenhouse Academy (2017)
Bad story, but good acting
It seems like they adapted the story for this series from something they found on a fanfiction website. The overarching storylines for the seasons are so bad it's actually amazing someone, somewhere read the it and said 'yeah lets make that into a TV series'. So many things happen in this show that'll make you pause and think 'well thats dumb'.
But the actors do a really good job. So many times cheap shows have bad actors. Not here. The characters are interesting and likeable. This show has a charm to it that makes it enjoyable. Also props to how they do the end credits on each episode, it adds something to the show. You'll see what I mean..
I enjoyed the first 2 seasons and I'm pumped to binge season 3.
Evening Installation (2019)
The most hateble villian of all time
Everything about this movie is horrible, the script, the camera work, the audio, the editing, the acting, etc EXCEPT for the performance of the male lead. He is so much better than the movie he's in. If he was going for hateable d-bag, this guy deserves an Oscar. I can promise you there has never been and will never be a fictional character you wish you could punch more than him. And he manages to accomplish that while being pretty funny half the time.
No Good Nick (2019)
Actually really good
I love this show. The best thing about it is the premise. It's great fun watching Nick bond with her foster family while simultaneously robbing them. The actress who plays Nick is actually really good.
The show is sometimes cheesy, but as someone who grew up watching and enjoying sit-coms in the early 2000s cheesy doesn't bother me.
This show is fun. The lead actress is great. Definitely deserves a watch.
