Rise of Empires: Ottoman (2020)
Megas Doux, Loukas Notaras was not a coward as sadly portrayed. Shame!
I urge the viewers to search for sources in the internet and see who Loukas Notaras really was. Despite his rivalry with Phrantzes and dislike of Giustiniani he was a very educated and pious man.He lost two sons during the siege, fought bravely while encouraging the defenders accross the walls. He did not flee.. and faced his end with dignity, courage and a last request. The last Megas Doux of the Great Roman empire, does NOT cry like a girlie before he loses his head from the hands of a nomad. Loukas Notaras had a third son, a young boy. Wanna know why was he executed? Look and see for yourself..
The Old Guard (2020)
Sadly Disappointed..
What is this? Taking one of the most beautiful women in the world acting as another Karate Kid? I suppose in today's Holywood. Marilyn Monroe would easily take the leading role from Jason Statham.Pfff.. adults don't watch movies anymore. Mrs Theron don't do this to your self! Breaks my heart..
The Predator (2018)
Was i watching a comedy???
Very disappointed. The only thing i didn't see was predator running to hide chased by a chihuahua,or even dancing "Despacito"at a latin party..
Blade Runner 2049 (2017)
An Emotionless and Souless up to date masterpiece of high tech.
Having seen the original masterpiece movie more than 70 times since 1982, and since it's the only movie i have given 10 stars on IMDB ,i must confess that i was a bit sceptical and also quite anxious to see Blade Runner 2049.Sure, its a high tech masterpiece but thats all about it.It takes 2 and a half hours to plug the story and it does it rather nicely. However to my opinion the human element is missing from the movie and everything is too cold to the point of a total lack of emotion.Like mr.Gosling as the blade runner.Yes.Emotionless.Hopeless.Too dark. Also i believe that the female actors of the movie were too many, asked by the script to carry a dysanalog burden for what they can bare for an intimate male movie like this. For this reason the movie lacks in erotism,an element which was so strong in the first movie. The music links perfectly with this movie. Its simply cold like the atmosphere of the movie it self.Forget something like "Blade Runner blues" or "Love's theme" of the original score.Overall its a great visual experience. At the end you have the feeling that there will be a sequel of it.Quiet decent since there will be solved unanswered issues of this movie,we will see another Blade Runner, and the glory of the original movie as a stand alone masterpiece of all times will be peserved.
Management (2008)
Being a true man is that simple!
Easy movie, showing that finally the best things in life are the simple things.Steve Zahn acted nicely his touching role, same as Fred Ward.Jennifer Aniston's eyes are so expressive,no need to say about the rest...if you know what i mean. She gave the movie a boost only by playing her role showing her talent in specific scenes.I believe that this movie could have stayed more in the sentimental and emotional part, also by adding a little cosmopolitan aura in it,a field that suits perfect to Mrs Aniston's style and class in the screen. Also Mr Zahn's simple attitude in the movie(a thing that is charming in a world especially in the city where everybody is so busy making a show off his ego whenever he finds the time)became indeed to childish, which i thing it was unnecessary. However,if it wouldn't have been this way,it could have been almost the same like other movies of this kind.
