House of the Dragon (2022)
Had doubts at first
When HOD first came out, I was so excited because GOT is like a drug for me and I've been craving it since that fiasco of a final episode. And then week after week of first episodes I got a bit more disappointed because I was comparing it to the original and couldn't quite get satisfied of what I'm seeing. It had the same feel as GOT but at the same time it wasn't what I expected to see.
Then by episode 6 I realized that I'm thinking about this show way more and get way more excited about new episodes. Like developing a new addiction.
And after watching episode 8 I finally realized that even though this show has the same quality, costumes and decorations, even music as GOT, it's not GOT at all. It's a completely different show, just set in the same world. And it's awesome, and deserves all the attention it gets and more but as the ORIGINAL SHOW. And I personally feel so lucky that we get to live through it again... In a different form. But just as addictive.
The Man in the Trunk (2019)
The WORST movie I've seen
Do not believe positive reviews. I did
And I found myself playing on my phone for the whole time this movie is on. The "twist" in the end I was waiting for was a joke and not worth wasting 1,5 hours on the Bad acting, Bad directing and Bad script.
Game of Thrones: The Iron Throne (2019)
I actually didn't hate the rest of the episodes of this season...
Except it kind of broke my heart seeing Dany, my favorite character of all times in the history of tv, going haywire and becoming the biggest evil of the show in seconds with no real development for it...
But the last 40 mins of this last episode of the greatest show that was ever made, I think I had that same face as Dany had in the previous episode when she was riding her dragon while the Bells rang. I kind of wish I could do the same to this episode and people who wrote it that don't particularly care about fans as much as their next paycheck, as she did to kings landing... Seeing them burn for what they've done to this show in the end would be more satisfying than watching any part of that episode...
just an honest opinion of someone who loved got from the beginning, who read all the books and who had an open mind about the ending with no hard expectations. But I guess anything would be better than this insulting end. Because i personally feel insulted by it.
Game of Thrones: The Long Night (2019)
Negative people either need to stop watching this show forever or just simply shut up
I just watched this episode for the second time and I'm just amazed. At the cinematography, acting, special effects, storyline... Everything!
And this episode is not too dark at all! I could see clearly everything watching on my big tv with hbo subscription...
I've been a game of thrones fan since the beginning, read all the books and all that. And even though I would've liked the main story of the night king to go on for a bit longer, and explore some of the most exciting theories, you simply CAN NOT rate this episode low just because your expectations of the story weren't met.
On the grand scale this was the best tv episode you and I have ever seen. This was better than most movies that's out in the theaters.
You can't expect certain things and if they don't happen, just start hating and trashing simply the best thing that's been on tv ever since tv was created.
Everyone who gave this episode less than 9, is not in their right mind. You can't please everyone. But after all, even if you didn't like the way that particular (main) story ended, you can not deny the amazing job and effort everyone put into this masterpiece of an episode.
Game of Thrones: Beyond the Wall (2017)
Game changer for the rest of the show
the best and the worst at the same time... The best is... this episode made me feel a lot of things. It was intense and scary at times, and even made me cry (that i don't usually do), and just packed with pure action. It was all that you would expect from GOT (except of course the time travel thing that I'm trying to make sense in my head all the time but it's getting harder to do)... The worse... it broke my heart! I knew exactly what's going to happen as soon as Danny got on the dragon to go save Jon but it still was very difficult to watch... and even though it was always number one theory for me that I knew makes most sense (the ice dragon theory), all the same it was a heartbreaking ending of the episode. Which means that things are really heating up (or icing up) in westeros, and the whole game is going to change. Change not for the good... Also Emilia is such a good actress. The look on her face when it all happened broke my heart even more...
