Exodus: Gods and Kings (2014)
Save yourself from this!
It's just beyond imagination how bad this movie is and how many lies are in all publicity surrounding it. Don't trust any publicity or article written about this movie because it's a total lie. With every scene I was just hopelessly trying to figure out how you can screw such thing so much - even the sea crossing scene is so flat that the Bruce Almighty one should get an Oscar. Too long, absolutely religion-free and not following even a single line from the Bible. Depicting God actually as a Devil and virtually eliminating any discussions because it puts all interpretations right at the plate. Even the Egyptian buildings doesn't look too impressive which could have been the savior of this movie. I highly recommend saving money on this one.
Meet Joe Black (1998)
Proudly enters my #1 position!
There's an sense of awe in my mind, I have never seen so beautifully described, in so many angles shown - LOVE. The meaning of life, for one who ever met it on his way, the origin of good which makes even death bow to the ground, that's it - we, humans, are made for LOVE. I can't explain to myself why this movie has so low note from watchers, maybe the LOVE experience isn't as common as I thought? "When you find love, when you know that it exists..." - George Michael, and yes, what a terrible amount of LOVE has created us, human beings? I highly recommend this movie, watch it with someone you love for the full blown experience and if you don't understand what "to love" means, maybe this movie can help you... love.
20 out of 10!
The Passion of the Christ (2004)
Masterpiece
This movie is a true masterpiece. I can't imagine anyone trying to make another movie at this subject.
Movie focus on the human nature of Jesus Christ. He's a human, he did not receive any special powers to handle his mission. He's as weak as any of us but still manages to give himself.
For the first time we can look into thoughts of people involved in whole process. We see how they are surprised with hate Jesus gathers (Romans ARE NOT Jews), how they sometimes don't know what is going on around them... and sometimes are the only ones that DO understand.
And now for the greatest thing: Maria and Jesus (for the first time!) DO KNOW what is going on around them, they make a decision that this has to be fulfilled.
Personally: for me no Great Friday will ever be the same again. The events are now precisely placed in time and place. Now I remember them.
Thank You, Mr. Gibson! You really understood the things which You've portrayed, thank You, thank You.
If You believe: go and see how it was. If You don't believe: go and see what Christianity is about.
Hudson Hawk (1991)
Bruce Willis IS great!
This film is actually great. Time runs and you laugh all the time. Bruce sings, and what to say - sings GREAT! The plot is so wicked that any second you'll be astonished with sudden turn.
I HighLY recommend!
Aniol w Krakowie (2002)
The most intelligent movie I've ever seen.
It speaks about very difficult things in a very gentle way, with brilliant humor and wide horizon. I was much disappointed when I watched the movie and confronted it with the spoiler... The spoiler is a big mistake. This movie is hundred times deeper than the deepest thought you get after reading the spoiler. This is the most intelligent movie I have ever seen. No more, no less a 100% MUST see.
Nackt (2002)
It shows the unspoken..
I really recommend this one to everyone!
If you have ever thought that you don't understand women and felt misunderstood by them you will quickly notice that this movie is exactly about this. (and vice-versa...)
Camera operator should get an Oscar! Great movie!
