This is one of the worst movies I've ever seen.
10 April 2025
Just BAD.

Acting is so juvenile.

The story is bad.

Special Effects look cheap.

I've heard people defend it saying it's a kid's movie. If so, the expectation for the current generation of kids has really lowered.

How have people not gotten tired of seeing Jack Black playing Jack Black. If that was ever entertaining, it has long stopped being so.

Jason Mamoa is just embarrassing. I would think his salary asking price has lowered after this.

As far as the other 3 leads, the movie must have only had enough left to pay scale, because their acting is equally amateurish.

This has to be the worse period of movies ever.

What an awful episode in an awful show.
7 April 2025
I can't believe how many people are hard-up for entertainment, that they believe this is a good show.

They put the characters through such far-fetched stories that do nothing but bring death and destruction to anyone that interacts with them, and to themselves after struggling through the worst. What's the point. The true villain of the story, the Indian woman, who is a witch with a B, escapes her deserved fate.

I'm done with Taylor Sheridan. The main thing going for Yellowstone was Beth. The show sputtered to an end because of the main star's ego.

1883 was unwatchable. He integrated his agenda items with unrealistic dialogue and action, just as he did on this show.

It's obvious that he's not a fan of families and secretly roots for his villains.

A shame so many of you are manipulated.

Heartbreaking information.
1 December 2024
I see Big Pharma already has their minions doing hit pieces. Another review on here refers to autism. This Documentary has nothing to do with that. This has to do with the COVID Vaccinations and Remdesivir and Ventilators.

This is not about a doctor. This is about the survivors and their stories about surviving the injuries of COVID Vaccinations and Remdesivir. This is about the surviving family members of a loved one who died from the COVID Vaccinations and Remdesivir. These are people and their stories. Also behind the scenes information on the money that was made by this Tragedy.

So ask yourself, why would anyone want to shut up the voices of survivors?

What a Green Mess.
30 November 2024
Warning: Spoilers
This was awful.

I've seen the stage production several times.

I've seen the True Movie countless times.

I've read the OZ 40 many times.

This was a travesty.

There was no reason to separate this into two movies, other than pure greed. It was bloated. The additions were not needed and added nothing. I feel sorry for those who are seeing this for the first time, ahead of the stage production. I can only hope it doesn't ruin the experience for them.

This soundtrack is just awful. They have taken beloved songs and ruined them. Please, do yourself a favor and listen to the Original Broadway Cast Album instead.

The "acting" is a joke. That people are saying Cynthia should be nominated for an Oscar is a riot. She is the worst of the cast. What people don't get from the stage production is, Elphaba was beautiful, except she was green. It was ironic. This actress is unattractive and far from beautiful. But we are not allowed to say that, because she gets a pass. The casting call can only have been for the most strangest and bizarre people there are out there, because that is all you see on screen. They again went for an agenda.

The ONLY High Point of this movie, is seeing the two original stage actresses in minor roles. If only a movie had been made years ago with decent writers and a decent director, showcasing their performances.

And of course we see high rated reviews, suspiciously from those who have only reviewed this movie.

The Umbrella Academy: End of the Beginning (2024)
Season 4, Episode 6

Another series that starts as a Hit, and ends as a DUD.
10 September 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Why does this keep happening to series such as this, Lost, and so many others? Do the accolades go to the heads of the creator and writers?

The first season was a Home Run.

The second season was a Double.

The third season was a Bunt.

This, the fourth season was a Foul.

It's obvious that they came up with this ending at the start of the fourth season, and worked their way back. The writing on every episode was atrocious and nonsensical. Last season, we had the ridiculous Hotel that made no sense, now we get the Multiverse Subway, which makes no sense whatsoever, but the writers must have thought it was cool. Yawn. Which led to the stupid out of nowhere love story. Oh, and the multiples of Five. More Yawn. Marigold and Durango? Stupid. Ben and Jennifer story. Just awful.

They could have done something with Sloane, or that "father" was an alien, but that was conveniently forgotten. And whoever thought it was a good idea to cast Nick Offerman, Megan Mullally, and David Cross, should never cast anything, ever again.

I will always believe that show got off course, when a certain actor forced their personal crisis into the show.

Awful writing.
25 July 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Is this what we are to expect with the recent generations? Evil getting away with it and life go on. That's just pure sickness. But I'm seeing that more and more in TV shows and movies. The criminal is celebrated. What has happened to the morals of society? I really think this line of thinking starts in schools and is perpetuated by the media. They see crimes committed on the news every night, and this is no repercussions for their actions. They see them getting away with these acts and seem to think that maybe they will be able to also. Actually, I'm surprised the killer didn't give a head kick or stomp. It seems to be the signature move.

Supercuts!
26 June 2024
Warning: Spoilers
The worse use for a lightsaber ever seen.

Sputtering lightsabers. Messing with canon and something that has never happened.

I suggest watching the episode at 1.5 speed. It makes the fight scenes almost tolerable. And the episode is over that much quicker.

The great REVEAL. NOT!!!

We all ascertained this one second after the character was introduced. (I can see them in the writer's room, wringing their hands with glee that we would never see this coming.)

Giant Moths. Why did it have to be Giant Moths.

The old switcheroo-er. I was waiting for this at some point. The bad writers did not disappoint.

Well, at least some of the most worthless characters will never be seen again.

This is just wrong. It's sick.
21 June 2024
Warning: Spoilers
I think there is something really wrong with whoever wrote this. Anyone who could write something so deranged, has some definite issues and should really seek help.

I read the complete comic book series, and where this show has gone, is beyond that. From the pure evilness of what Homelander does in this episode to the perversion between The Deep and Sister Sage is just sickening. How troubled do you have to be to even contemplate writing garbage like this? I would welcome an indecency code after seeing this.

I don't know how anyone could agree to act in this. Or how anyone could find this entertaining in anyway.

Another movie ruined by the soundtrack.
18 June 2024
When are they going to learn that not everyone like rap or hip-hop.

The movie had an interesting concept, based on a real-life game played by a group of men. And then Hollywood got a hold of it. Now one is a pot head and one is a black man. I'm not familiar with the "actor" Lil Rel Howery, but he was not funny at all and his inclusion seemed forced.

Actually, none of the male characters were likeable at all, and a few were just irritating. Ed Helms playing the same one-note character he always plays. On the other hand, I did like the all the women in the movie. Particularly Isla Fisher.

I re-watched this after several years, hoping it was better with age. Unfortunately, it wasn't.

A rushed episode.
7 June 2024
I have been a fan of this show since the first episode. During that time, there have only been a handful of stinkers. The ratings on those episodes will show you which ones. They were usually the preachy ones, with the message embedded in it and overall poor writing. The most recent one like that, was the one killing off Dr. Wolke. A cheap shot just to evoke an emotion for current times and of course, not even factual on those who killed him.

I wasn't thrilled to see Claire back, as she's not a character I liked and the one usually pushing the preachiness.

My biggest issue with the show is the suddenly tying up issues and the flash-forward. It seems to be a recent thing. They did this recently with New Amsterdam. Life goes on. Not everything needs to be tied up. This doesn't happen when we die. There doesn't need to be a resolution.

Yet another BAD movie.
6 June 2024
From the reviews and ratings, several people seem to be easily entertained or they are paid shills.

It's just another banal movie.

The story and dialogue is so bad. Are they just taking a few hack-eyed ideas and throwing it at AI and letting it churn out some nonsense?

The acting? I would be embarrassed. None of these "actors" were capable of what is needed to pull off playing a major character in a movie.

Hall appeared to be phoning it in and her character was annoying and boring.

Henry was not funny. End of story.

Stevens was amateurish.

Hottle just looked like she was constipated the entire movie.

Three of my favorite monsters characters, Kong, Godzilla, and Mothra, and they all looked awful with cheap looking CGI. Mothra was the worst. I'll take the old Japanese version over this new one any day.

Just watch one of their old movies, even the bad ones. You will have a better time.

When casting affects a series.
13 May 2024
First, I want to say, I have so far enjoyed this series. It has a Brokenwood Mysteries feel to it.

I like the issue covered, being eminent domain, which has caused a lot of problems for Real Americans. My problem with this episode is the casting of Ethan Embry. I know part of it was because of the main actor, Johnathon Schaech, and his history together - That Thing You Do! Which used to be one of my favorite movies, that I will no longer watch.

The role in question is a Hard Working American, ex-military, forced to the extreme because Big Government is stealing the family farm using Eminent Domain as their weapon.

Ethan Embry is the farthest away from that role. He is all for Big Government and just recently called people like the one he played, trash. This ruined the whole episode for me.

I Have A BAD Feeling About This.
24 August 2023
Warning: Spoilers
The beginning bridge scene felt completely out of place in the Star Wars Universe. It also had a plastic Dr. Who feel to it. The whole episode had a sterile feel to it. Even the space scenes felt off. This is not Star Wars. I suppose this is what comes from acting on a green screen stage.

The three choreographed fight scenes throughout the episode were terrible. I've seen more impressive battles at fandom events. I guess Ahsoka forgot all about Jedi speed.

None of the droids appeared to be Star Wars type droids and seemed like they came from some other movie universe.

Really bad acting from everyone. Mary Elizabeth Winstead?

Atrocious writing. I guess Filoni isn't the Star Wars savior we were lead to believe he was. The high ratings for this are suspect.

Sick movie with no redeeming qualities at all.
28 July 2023
How does garbage like this get made? If there no one with any common sense to say, no, just no.

Shame on Ryan Reynolds for appearing in this.

Shame on Anna Kendrick for appearing in this.

The director, Marjane Satrapi hasn't done anything of note, so no surprises there.

The writer, Michael R. Perry, has really disappointed me. I see he has written episodes for TV shows I have enjoyed - The River; Persons Unknown, The Dead Zone; Millennium; and American Gothic. Maybe he had help with the others, because this script is such bad.

Shame on the people who rated it anything above 1 star. It says so much about who the people living in America are. You are as mental as the main character.

Actually, imagine getting paid to leave positive reviews.
1 July 2023
Warning: Spoilers
In 1981 I went to a sneak preview of Raiders of the Lost Ark. I saw it several more times at the theater, even staying and watching it again in the same day. I encouraged family and friends to see it. I bought the soundtrack on LP, later CD. I bought the movie on VHS, DVD and currently 4k.

This is not my Indiana Jones.

The story writing is bad. The direction is awful. Mangold is an overrated director who will never deserve the status of the great directors of yesteryear. And shame on Mangold for repeated lying to the fans about re-shoots and other things that came out of his mouth.

Who would think that anything would make me want to increase my rating and rewatch Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. This movie does, just as Disney's Star Wars stab elevated the prequel trilogy for everyone.

How they dismissed the character of the son Mutt Williams in this movie was yet more poor writing and undeserved.

Who would think that Helena would make me appreciate. Willie Scott, a character I despised. Helena does many nonredeemable actions, but is never called on it.

Ridiculous thin mustached Teddy is no Short Round. I also have a problem with the teenage character directly involved with the death of a villain, even if he was a Nazi. It just didn't seem right.

The whole section in the past, Syracuse, Sicily, just seemed out of place and Dr. Who goofiness.

The villain and his number one henchmen don't get the personal Indiana Jones touch that others received in the past. It was like, boom, crash. That's it.

It also quite obvious where the original movie ending was heading. I can see it now. Indy in the past and some future artifact found showing what happened to him. Yawn. I would be interested in what some of the unfortunate who saw the original ending have to say. Instead, we get an abrupt ending in the past and the new re-shot story-tale ending unfold.

Yes, we get Marion. Which fans always wanted, and it appears she was not in it originally, and also dismissed as another poor writing plot point. I was very happy to see her. And the filmmakers get credit for this last five minute, because it is a feel good moment that viewers are going to resonate with instead of the last 2+ hours.

For your sake, pass this by. Oh, and I wasn't paid for this negative review. I actually lost money for the ticket, popcorn and drink.

I guess White people aren't allowed to cook Soul Food.
20 June 2023
Interesting. Not one White contestant or White judge. I'm pretty sure that an all White cooking contest show wouldn't be allowed and I'm sure there hasn't been one in the last 20 years. But of course that is okay.

And with nearly every contestant we got some I was oppressed or I was a victim story. It gets real tiring after awhile. It's never that it might have been based on their cooking skills.

That is one thing I did enjoy watching. When they were told their cooking was bad, some of them got such a look on their face. They knew they had to take responsibility for it and not cry one of the usual reasons.

We got the usual mannerisms and inflections.

The only one I liked was Dorian. She seemed above all that and probably why she was voted out. But that's okay, it appears that she won MasterChef USA Season 10. Good for her.

Hard to believe all this love for this movie.
20 June 2023
Warning: Spoilers
The beginning action scenes with the babies just felt unnecessary and very wrong. Putting a baby in a microwave is just sick. It doesn't matter that it wasn't working at the time. There are enough weirdos out there that if this even encourages one... I found the character of Barry just annoying. This was never the Barry I read for the last 50+ years. And if that wasn't bad enough, the younger self was twice as worse.

I won't bother talking about the casting for Iris. Got to get that ESG money.

The Speed Force visualization was a Hot Mess. Really bad.

The only thing that saved this movie at all was the Keaton Batman and the many cameos. Even that seemed a bit off. Keaton Batman wasn't the Keaton Batman we know. The multiple version cameos are the reason I think people are really loving this movie. If it wasn't in it, I don't think it would be rated so high. Unfortunately, some were so quick and not very clear. Enough people have already covered the special effects, so no need to comment further.

The end credits scene was stupid and pointless.

Shame on DC for not giving credit to some of the creators involved with the stories the movie took info from, including Carmine Infantino, Mark Waid,Ethan Van Sciver, among others.

Give me a break...
5 February 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Bleeding hearts for criminals. They never talk about what deaths the thug could have caused when he drove haphazardly in his vehicle being chased by the police. Then you have the thug breaking into a Subway. These people made bad life decisions. They put themselves on these paths. Where were these families then?

Yes, the death of the old man was wrong. The death of man seeking help for his condition was wrong, but where was his family then.

Amazingly these families can show up for protests and to receive settlements, but where were they when these family members were making bad life choices?

Yes, I do have a problem with several of these police actions and the covering up of information, but this is so one-sided.

Maybe these filmmakers should make a documentary on the revolving door of the prisons in California. Zero bail. Arbitrarily getting "earned" credits to let them out even sooner. Gavin Newsom and his administration have made so many policy changes that benefit the criminal, not society. The 3 strikes law has been gutted. These changes were done in the dark. Media has been quiet on it. Here's your story. Why were these changes made? Where was the media?

Maybe if the police,DA's and the court system were not so overworked with these repeat criminals, only if they're actually caught again, maybe then, other things could be changed.

This was bad. Really bad.
16 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I really think the current crop of so-called stage comedians need to go re-watch some of the greats from the 70's and 80's. The material used now by so many, just goes for the gross out factor. It's no longer a shock and something new, and is mostly just in bad taste. It seems like so many, including Andrew, are just doing whatever they can that will get them cast in that movie, or maybe even TV series role. Bad writing. Bad timing. Bad material. The only thing I can give him credit for is, he actually commented about the current administration. I haven't seen any of the others have the balls to do that. Though, he had to play it safe and counter it with TDS, red-man bad, with the usual media induced lies.

Make's Rob Zombie's movie look good.
20 November 2022
This is just bad. There is no way that this was going to get viewers who loved the old show. Bad move mixing comedy aspects with outright gore and death.

Why do they always have to mess with something that is loved. They could have taken some of the concepts and come up with something original without tainting the respected name.

The worst factor for me was casting Eddie Izzard as Grandpa. No charisma at all or respect for the character. Once upon a time I was a fan, but it's the same old thing again and again. He wasn't Grandpa, he was Eddie Izzard and the character is not at all likeable. Hard Pass.

Typical liberal bias...
4 September 2022
So Marley Clements and Bayan Joonam, when are you going to do your expose on Antifa and BLM. If you did, I'm sure it would conclude, mostly peaceful. How about an expose on Fauci, Biden, or Hunter. We probably wouldn't see any crocodile tears from Bayan on those subjects. It's funny how you liberals again and again attack President Trump, but never have the balls to go after your own camp. Because if you did it honestly, it would be to eye opening to you. And you couldn't present that to your lemmings. But I dare you, please do it so I can see how you spin it. Really, 600 characters? I see other reviews which are smaller than that.

Love Marcia Lucas. Fantastic Documentary!
23 July 2022
A fan since the beginning. Read the Marvel Comics adaption, the first two issues before the movie came out.

So glad to see Marcia Lucas getting the attention and credit she deserves. She was short-changed by George. She should have received a percentage of the franchise due to her contributions. The same for Ralph McQuarrie, John Williams, Ben Burtt, John Dykstra, and others. Without their contributions, each integral, there would have been no Star Wars.
