Eye Candy
29 March 2015
1. The writing was sub-par. It was only for the nudity that I am guessing any of the gay community would bother to watch this show.

2. The acting was painfully high school drama production. It was the one thing that makes it painful. Each actor most of the time would wait for the other person to finish his line and there was a slight pause and then the reaction.

3. Camera: Was the dude who was operating the camera on crack? It was jerky and not in an artist way. It got sometimes so bad that you needed a Dramamine pill not to get screen (car) sick.

4. Most of the story lines started and then did not really go anywhere. Of if they do go anywhere, it took way too long to get there. With the Melanie Griffith - Sandra Bernhard characters, what was with this whole part? Why where they needed or what did they add to the show? My only guess is, the producers where 'hoping' for a second and many seasons, and these people would become part of the back story to the production.

On the positive note: There was enough buffed eye candy for any gay man to enjoy and the sex scenes were good without being too gratuitous.

All of the characters had major flaws in their makeup and there is no reason to discuss this area because this is just a fictional show...without saying that I am glad I would not be a part of this group.

Enjoy but with knowing that just because it is gay orientated does not mean that it is great entertainment.

Better than what I thought
20 January 2015
The concept is original and the actors, working with a script that could have had a bit more work done to it, did still come off as entertaining.

Actually, this movie could be really one for ladies more so than guys. There are so many ladies who could understand how a guy can be the way that he is with his junk. Not that anyone should want to have a guy lose his junk but just take some responsibility for it.

And guys could laugh at the prospect of their junk taking on their own life so that they could see how it looks to actually watch their junk in action and cringe.

Well worth the watch!!

Very In-depth
10 January 2015
Whether you like the monarchy or not, the show is so very in-depth. The way in which the filming was done, at times you wonder how they were able to get so much done without being in the way.

BBC should be applauded for the depth of information that they put into this show and yes it needed to be put into several shows and not into one show, as there is so much information to offer.

The behind the scenes access was well worth the time to watch it all. I know that many people both in England and abroad, would like to see the monarchy abolished and this show is not about either praising her. but in just showing you what happens in the many days in the life of the Queen.

Enjoy!!

Kudos!!

Hello!?
8 August 2014
Warning: Spoilers
You know there are times that we all (I am guessing) want to sit back and watch a 1 star movie just to see how much of a train wreck it is.

Well this is the train wreck to end all train wrecks! How can they put in so much time with people going around a big house saying "Hello"? Side Note: If I could bear to watch this show again, I would like to do a HELLO count and see how many times they say Hello? And then they waste so much time when each of the actors are tied up with them grimacing and trying to get free? I think that basically the whole movie could have been cut down to 10 minutes tops.

And I love how Venice Beach because the Caribbean? All in all....I normally do not review movies that are this bad but this one takes the cake! Kudos to the actors (If you can call them that) the Director (I know he has not a clue because even I could have director better) and the prop man, (If they had one) Total Rubbish!

Good Show!!
30 July 2013
Warning: Spoilers
This is just a good old boys romp where you don't think but just enjoy the ride.

Jerry O'Connell is so funny in this movie. The take off from other movies ie: Tom Cruise on the rock climbing is a good inside/outside joke.

And yes I laughed out loud at the two scenes with Grandma as the Domintrix with both Jerry and Jake Busey at the end.

I really do see this as a guy movie but as a date movie it would do the trick as woman could have a good laugh at the expense of the men.

Good Show!!

Huh?
3 June 2013
I notice that we are to check off if our review contains spoilers.

Spoilers: I watched the first 30 minutes of this mess and for the life of me, I don't have a clue what it was about. How could I give away the plot etc. if for the life of me, I have no clue what this movie was about. And I sure was not going to watch further because it became to painful to just figure out who was who and why they were their.

I should have read review with spoilers so I could know just what this movie was about.

Its not the worst movie because it really is not a movie.

I have no idea what it is but I have and would watch 2 hours of commercials and known what they were about and have enjoyed them more than this folly of an attempt at movie making.

It should have been called: Dude, Where is the Movie

Stupid
8 January 2013
Warning: Spoilers
I too am a gay man and I found the show either stupid or offencive.

1. Stupid. There was not one level of gay in Will. It was as if he was a str8 man playing the part of a gay man with as much believability as Liberace playing a John Wayne role.

2. Offensive. Karen and her boozing - pill popping - and her boobs out there for everyone to see.

3. Stupid. The maid who after some time should not have to do the same act with the damn blue jacket and say the foolishness to Karen each and every show.

Cheers All For One And That One Is ME!

What DId I Just Watch?
5 January 2013
I have no idea what this movie was about. The acting was sub par and I blame this on the director and the script.

To take Jack Nicholson and screw up a movie is quite a feat. But to take him, and Witherspoon, and Wilson and put Rudd in the same movie and it goes no where is really a leap.

I do have some questions that perhaps someone can answer: 1. What was the whole assistant and her pregnant got to do with the story? 2. Why did he give her the watch and have this big party and then she says she wants to 'hang out' with Rudd? He goes from a strong person to a real wozz in the movie? 3. Witherspoon moves in and out that the door man must have had a time figuring out if she lived there or was visiting. Does she not sit and discuss why Owen made the comment? Is he not allowed to make a mistake as this is what appeared to be his first real live-in relationship so he is new to all of this.

Witherspoon's here comes off like a whinny self-absorbed (rymns with witch) Notice that I did not use the names of the people in the movie, because this was not a movie but a total waste of such great talent. Each could have gotten into phone booths and called in their parts.

There was no depth and there was no reason to have any feelings for any of the people in the movie. Disjointed, mixed up, went no where and a waste of time.

I only give it 2 stars because of the actors in the movie and it is not their fault.

DUD!!

Only a Sociopath could come up with this show!!
13 December 2012
Warning: Spoilers
I was the first to review this show and gave it a 9. This is the first time I think that someone has gone back and edit their original review to change to this extent.

I apologize for my original review. Anyone that read my original review and felt that it was worth watching this masterpiece of bad taste, please read on.

This is horrid. I agree totally with the other posters.

1. This is a game of conning and lying. We mostly think of lawyers as low-life ... anything to win the game. This was proved in the Friday show. I could not have believed what I saw if I had it on TiVo and watched it again. Gladly, I was able to delete it and remove this show from further taping.

2. Its a nice concept until the last round. Then it just is a nasty game of tricking the other person into your honesty.

3. By letting them know much money is hidden at the end it makes for even more greed of the worst kind. Terrible Terrible Terrible!!!

Yes I am now very sure that this show was conceived by a sociopath who is enjoying his creation.

Shame on the network, the producers, Howie and also the contestants.

This is really a sad day for network TV

OMG - A chick flick that even chicks can dislike
10 December 2012
Warning: Spoilers
Dear sweet baby Jesus, please kill me now.

Hear my prayer, oh Sweet Jesus.

I wish to die now, rather than watch the rest of this movie.

I am more sympathetic to ushers who have to witness this mess each night.

I can't take one more second of this whining silly woman.

She was irritating and though I do not consider violence to women, but she really needed to be slapped upside the head.

And what was with the dyke-man chaser?

PLEASE GOD KILL ME NOW!!!

This is not the worst movie but it is right up there with the worst of them.

Claptrap

Warning: Spoilers
I tried, I really tried to get some feel as to who these people were and why they were doing what they were doing.

1. So they live in rural Oregon and of course everyone there totally thinks that a gay couple with a son is just fine! And where did the father get this son and how does he have custody? 2. Why did the son stop speaking? 3. So he is in an 'unfulfilled' relationship. So he is now a martyr because he really does need to stay for the young boy - whom is not his son? 4. Chase, whom comes to continue writing his book, falls in love yet he is to come across as a reinvented virgin? He has lived this long and now he falls in love in less than one week? And to top it off he will keep a torch burning for 5 years to come back and see him? 5. So the boyfriend comes home and Everett packs his bag and leaves him? So what is with him 'finding' Chase and then what? 6. So now we are to 'believe' that Miles, his boyfriend 'knows' all about the 'romp' week and that there is great feelings for Chase and that Chase is coming back so he is going to take a powder and go with this son to visit his parents. And he is as unemotional as a dead stick, with more feelings for some baked goods? All in all this whole movie reads more like a cheap dime store hetro romance novel for 14 year old girls.

All that was needed was more 'cheezy' dialogue..."He took me in his arms and my life was fulfilled with **sound of waves crashing...(OMG they are in the mountains but I am sure that they could have figured out how to have crashing waves)...

7. Who was the brother and why did he have to do his little naked hot tub scene? That made no sense. And when he asked....'Do you love him?' WHO is he talking about?

Good but not Hitchcock Great
3 November 2012
Warning: Spoilers
Ray Milland does a fine job of acting but his directorship on the movie shows why some need to stay in front of the camera and some need to say behind the camera.

That said, there are too many loopholes to make this a great film.

1. We are to suspend our reasoning that a man who was tried and conficted by Milland and the dead judge would work for 15 years for Milland waiting? Question, he is so violent, how did he not attack long before the opportunity of the hit and run? 2. Given that the murderer was colour blind, and he worked for Milland for 15 years, it is also a streach to imagine that this fault was not noticed as some point during his tenur.

3. What was the point of the cross examination of the Major to make it look like he was the murderer. Further to this, why make such a poor dirctoral suggestion that when the Major and the Chief Clerk walk by each other in the court - they stop to look at each other's eyes? The Major knew nothing about the 'eyes never change, nor had he seen the photograths. He had no reason to suspect the Chief Clerk.

4. Why would the Chief Clerk arrive at court with a gun? This does not make any sense. Further to all of this, because Milland had already had the letter redone in black print and not red, he knew that the Chief Clerk was the murderer and Logan, so why did he attack the Major? This was there only for the 'twist' Hitch does a far better job of it.

Finally, as noted in someones posting here re: Perry Mason. I fully agree that it was the after the trial that Mason would reveal what tipped him off, and we would think, wow I missed that or wow I saw that so I would make a good lawyer. This is not done here.

Lastly, we never know who ran down the daughter. A real lose end that again Mason or Hitch would never have left if they were on the scene.

Good movie and nice English acting but misses the marks too many times.

Do watch it though just to see Milland at his best acting.

More like a Grade 10 Film Project with a C grade
24 September 2012
Warning: Spoilers
Was Justin Bateman kidding? This was more like a school project for summer. The filming and editing was so amateur that I do wonder who he got to hold and focus (if it was even a person doing it and not a chimp) is beyond me.

The subject was interesting but it went nowhere. It is more like a teenage boys hangup with hair and then balding men's hangup with the lack of hair. My God, it was all about hair and then it went on and on with each subject about their hair.

This was painful to watch but I do give each movie the full chance so I do watch from the beginning to the end.

To make this a good movie it should be just the opening credits and the closing credits and leave out all the foolishness in between.

Justin, come on man - are you on crack? The only good line in the movie was - Back, Sac and Crack...

GayDar should sue for using their name! TERRIBLE!!
5 September 2012
Warning: Spoilers
As a gay film its awful.

As a straight man's or chick flick its awful.

1. The premise that a good looking woman could turn a gay man straight is as stupid as a hot looking gay man could turn a straight man gay! I know its just a movie but its stupid.

2. The acting was more like a film project for a grade 10 film class. One person would say their line, there was a pause, the camera would then go to the other person and they they would say their line. It was as painful as I can imagine being 'waterboarded at GitMo!' 3. The 'acting' like you were gay, was so put on that it was also painful. To go to a straight club and act like this - most of the str8 men would have clocked his ass. And to come on to the str8 men like he did was pitiful. A str8 man would have been offended and a gay man looking at the movie would also be offended.

4. The camera work was too amateur to be believed.

RUN in the other direction before you watch this, unless you want to get all the tips on how not to make a movie, even a home movie of your Granny and family at a Thanksgiving weekend visit.

Great Show with Flaws
2 September 2012
Warning: Spoilers
1. The show is inventive and good story lines.

2. The problems that I have with it is, as Grayson is so smart and seems to be only attracted to other women who are in his same mental league, where does Deb (whom he was with) fit in here? I don't get that he would be with her unless he was that shallow that he liked just the looks and no brains female.

3. When Deb comes back as Jane, Jane is to be an not very attractive female. Many men would look at Deb and pass her by to be with Jane. Yes Jane is a full figured woman but she carries herself great, dresses well for her size and has a beautiful face.

I love the show but the one area that should have been played down was that Deb got the losing end of the deal when she came back (also by being a dumb broad and pushing the button) as Jane.

She has a great job and is respected in her field, she looks great (given the number of woman in North America are plus sized), she gets so see her mom and Grayson - alas from a far but its better than being dead.

Finally, Deb was the dumb broad that was on her cel phone and I believe she was also doing her makeup or her nails and driving at the same time. Yes its a show but given what she was, she was an accident looking for a place to happen, at least it was just her who died in the accident and not some innocent person too!

OMG! Zach Galifianakis is the worst in this movie
26 August 2012
Today I got the pleasure of watching 'The Hangover II' and it was the first time that I had ever reviewed a movie because it rated as the worst movie for 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014.

When I saw that Zach Galifianakis, was in that movie was now in this movie, I had 'BAD' feelings about this one...but Robert Downey Jr. is so good at all that he has done that I thought that it would be a good second chance and to get the taste of that last 'load of - (watch The Hangover II) you will get the inside joke to this last line - out of my mouth!

Well now I can say without excluding any actor living, dead or not even born that Zach Galifianakis can take the prize for being the worst actor. Reason that he can win this prize is simple.

Yes there are some really bad actors but they had bad scripts or bad editing or bad co-stars but when you are able to take an A List star RDjr and destroy each and every scene with him then you have got to be in then you must win this prize! The movie is a rip off of Planes, Trains and Automoblies - of which I was never a great fan of Steve Martin, but I would pay to see him do a send up of the 'Last Supper' before I would watch Zach Galifianakis even recite his ABC's!!

BAD BAD BAD....

PS: Jamie Fox could have phoned in his performance and I bet he wish he had.

Worst Movie for 2011, 2012, 2013 & 2014
26 August 2012
Warning: Spoilers
I have never reviewed a movie before but this one is the worst! 1. What is funny about a str8 man getting fcuked and having semen in his backside by a lady-boy with a penis? (I am a gay man and even I found this totally wrong!) Please tell me the humour in this.

2. Teddy wakes up with his finger cut off? And he is happy and asks what happen to his finger, like its something that happens and no big deal? Where is the humour in this? 3. Alan is so much of a goof that there is no way that I can imagine that under the best of times, they would be friends with him and at that, after they find out he is the one that 'spiked' the mashmellows, that caused all of this, that they would still be pals? 4. Goof: Bangkok to where the resort is - is over 1100 miles away. So now how did they get from the resort to Bangkok? Fly - I doubt it because there are no late nite flights. Drive - Its an 11 hour drive on a freeway doing 80 mph all the way and where did they get the car? 5. Goof: So now Alan takes the speedboat, and he (remember he is a total dip) can now find his way out of Bangkok and all the way to the resort on open water? Better yet, how does he do this in the speedboat at full throttle, without re-fueling? And just how long does it take to speedboat 1100 miles please? Please spare us the HangoverIII that I see is in production, unless that one is going to knock this one out of the worst movie for 2013.

Skyline (2010)

Below 1 Star
10 January 2011
Warning: Spoilers
OMG I do like a good movie but this is the worst movie that I have seen in all my time watching movies. The bad part is, I do know one of the main characters and I am terrified to see (him/her) if they should mention the film, as I hate to lie.

The dumbest movie that at least the my pal Donald Faison from Scrubs got to be killed off early (I hope it was because he wanted to get out of this mess as fast as possible)!! And one question. Why did the aliens need so badly to get everyone? Why did they need to come to their exposed window and get them? I am sure there were others in the area and I could go on an on as to the stupidity of this movie.

And what were they thinking in the whole pregnancy subplot and am I guessing that there were NO OTHER pregnant women in all of LA? So are we to expect some kind of Skyline 2 the 'Birth'? The movie is not even worth of direct to video much less a bit torrent download...as it would be a total waste of hard-drive space.

Just to let others know, I had to stop the movie 2 times to go to IDbM to see if I was losing my mind in how silly the movie was and check the reviews. No I had not lost my mind except I did watch it to the end out of morbid curiosity!!
