Can't help feeling sorry for this woman and her family.. Just sad from start to finish really. I wonder if she had any real joy at all in her life.. Just unfortunate circumstances throughout.. She had so many advantages in life, people who loved her, a beauty that few are blessed with, but she chose to create a different story which completely messed her up..
She seems to have lived in her head and had a fantasy of how life was or should be, which she built in her mind, and this obviously clashed with the reality of life.. Completely destroyed her in the end. Overall a very sad and tragic story which could have been so very different.

I enjoyed this so much.. Chris is so funny and he touches on all the issues that some get so het up about..! Racism, abortion, Republicans, Megan Markle and The Kardashians.. as well as the now infamous incident at the Academy Awards with actor Will Smith. Crushed it! ....
Some good laugh out loud moments ..
But if you're the type of person who is defensive on all of the above .. don't watch it.. 😂😂😂

Gorgeous panoramic views of the Maltese Islands and that's the only redeeming and real feature of this movie... Everything else is a mystery to me..
There are no direct flights from NYC to Malta
The hotel they are staying in is not Ramla Bay although some outside scenes were at that location..
None of the 'locals' were Maltese; listening to them pronouncing Maltese phrases was excruciating.. Swimming at Christmas would be a very cold experience! Why are people walking around like it's summer when the movie is based on a Christmas holiday? December is not beach weather in Malta..
The 'Crystal' Lagoon is in fact The Blue Lagoon which is in Comino and you cannot get there by car! .. And that vineyard??? Where was that?
So silly... They could have based this movie somewhere in America and done a better job of it!

Always a fan of an apocalyptic movie so Las Vegas in deterioration was the carrot to watch this movie. In that respect it does not disappoint. Special effects are great. The zombies are very cool, some of the characters I enjoyed, the plot not so much.

This is a great movie to watch with kids. It has all the right elements and effects.. It's a fairytale complete with dragons! Deserves a much better rating than people are giving it! Plus it's riddled with great actors! An epic adventure for children.

This tv series I just loved from start to finish. When series 3 came out if was like a gift! The characters are so amiable. There is laughter, family tradition, life, loves.. It has it all. Beautiful acting.. Just brilliant! You cannot NOT love and care for these characters.

I am on episode 4 and enjoying this! Not sure why there are such bad reviews. I'm a huge fan of H.G Wells novel and Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds and although it was the title that drew me in, and in reality this is not an adaptation of the novel, the drama and characters in this series are very good. It's all about human reactions to an alien attack and survival of human annihilation basically! Perfectly watchable and good acting! Abandoned cities and streets strewn with dead bodies! Just don't sit down to watch War of the Worlds. Appreciate this for what it is. Sci-Fi drama without Hollywood effects.

I binge watched this and thoroughly loved the characters and insights into such a different way of life and faith. It's in Hebrew so subtitles all the way but I recommend it as something different to watch. You will laugh out loud and get caught up in this family drama.. Season 3 coming 2021 😊

This movie is in the style of old Hammer House of Horror movies that were so popular in the 70's and preceding decades. It's funny, bloody and downright disgusting at times! (Poop, blood and farts abound) No special effects as such but if it's a blood soaked comedy you're after, this movie is for you!

Sally Hawkins is in my opinion, one of the very best actors we have today. Her portrayal of this paranoid schizophrenic woman is just heart breaking, yet done with such tenderness. Funny in parts and eye opening in others. Powerful performance.

I have watched this movie so many times over the years, I have lost count. The songs are ingrained in my brain and the characters are like family. The story is such a heartwarming tale of love, tradition and the changing of times. When I feel a little low, I like to watch and sing along, which makes me feel better somehow. It's a story that makes you laugh and cry. A story that never ages. A classic through and through, always.

The fact that journalists HAVE paid with their lives..! Really brings home the massive impact corruption has on the world economy.. Billions of dollars that could help so many people.. So frustrating that many of the greedy and the guilty still reign! 🙊🙈🙉

I was so looking forward to this movie.. Thinking I was in for a good costume / medieval drama with some great actors thrown in. Unfortunately it was most disappointing.. Random tales that had no meaning.. Film locations and costumes were great, and the acting itself was fine.. I just didn't enjoy the 'tales'... I wasn't expecting happy endings but the plots seemed randomly put together with no real substance and more baffling than entertaining. Fairy tales, regardless if for adults or kids, are meant to have reason or lessons learnt - the moral of the story is?.. Nothing that makes sense at all in this movie! Totally forgettable and I wouldn't recommend.
