Dune: Part Two (2024)
Had the potential to be one of the best Sci-Fi and failed to do so.
As a big fan of Dune, the movie is so overrated by most critics in my opinion. It's definitely the best creation ever made for Dune but it's not a "masterpiece" and the epic moments in it are so short that actually made me angry.
Beside the many changes compared to the origin story (some good & some bad that I could live with), the movie focuses too much on the relationship between Paul and Chani while missing many other major issues that some of them didn't even get screen time. Chani's part is just way too big; the fact that the movie ends up with her face symbolizes that.
But the thing that was the most disappointing for me is the action scenes in the big assault of the Fremen at the end; that were very epic with maybe 2 minutes long! I think Villeneuve messed this up big time.
The shadukar, the strongest force of the emperor in the universe, I want to see more how it's defeated. The defeat of all the Harkonnen forces also almost nothing of it was shown. We didn't even get to see Paul storms with the Fremen and fight in this battle. At the point when they reach to the emperor and his people, there was a line of Shadukar troops walking into the fog and disappearing before Paul arrives; Why not make a small action scene there?! I really don't get it. I didn't expect this movie to contain long big scale action sequences just like Lord of the Rings movies, but it seems to me that the director was literally trying to avoid them no matter what.
I've seen the movie twice since I like Dune so much. It has one of the best casts ever made (Rebecca Ferguson performance is remarkable), the story is more than amazing, the visuals & dressings are stunning, the sound off course is mind blowing- all were so excellent.
This really should have been the best Science Fiction movie since decades. I don't believe a perfect movie can be created, but this one could have been the closest thing to a perfect movie and it missed the opportunity to be that.
Avengers: Endgame (2019)
Disappointing regardless to the ending.
Regardless to the ending in which two of the main avengers are dead and another one becomes 90 years old, the story was a complete mess with the time travel issue. Many things were not clarified good enough to the viewers and that was very confusing to the point that it ruined most of the positive experiences from watching the movie. Even for me, who saw all the marvel movies prior to this one, I have to look for online explanations in order to fill ups these holes.
In addition to that, also the action sequences were fewer than Infinity War; in fact there is just one big action sequence at the end and that's it. You don't see many action parts of individuals like you can see in Infinity War; this is a big step backwards if you ask me.
Bottom line is: Avengers Endgame has many story issues, just one impressive action sequence and it doesn't settle nothing promising for the future.
Freedom Writers (2007)
Can't be any better!!
Couldn't find anything bad in the movie. Watched it several times and will watch it again for sure. it's perfect in my opinion! I have seen many movies with the same style; this is the best one. People are ignoring the fact that it's based on a true story, which means that nothing is made up in the movie. This plot, believe it or not, happened, and even made a big change to schools across the country after the events occurred in the movie. You'll adore the teacher for what she did for her students- she had to deal with many obstacles around her in order to give them a proper education they deserve. She actually sacrificed her life for them! Emotional, enjoyable and inspiring at the same time. This movie is a must! I would recommend it to everyone.
How I Met Your Mother (2005)
The creators should be ashamed
Those who made the ending should be ashamed, they don't get that sometimes you have to do the expected... I'm petty sure that the ending broke most of the viewers heart and unlike to what the creators said about the ending, this does'nt teach anything positive. It actually may relapse to any good possible relationship in the future.
This ending made the mother unimportant although the whole show was about meeting her, it made Barney's feelings and commitments meaningless (if he loves Robing why divorce her??!) and the worst: it returns the characters to the beginning like nothing happened.
Here is my advice to the viewers: you are looking for a good show? don't try the comedy ones!! check out the drama law enforcement ones: CSI, NCIS, Hawaii 5-0, Law & Order, Bones, Criminal Minds, Blue Bloods etc. If Carter Bays and Craig Thomas want to show the unexpected so much, they really should learn from creators like Robin Green & Mitchell Burgess how to do so.... (in the more fascinating way and positive side)
Power Rangers Time Force (2001)
Different ending and the series would have been perfect!
I really think that Time Force is the best series of all the Power Rangers.
However, I must say that the ending was disappointing: I understand why the rangers had to return to the year 3000, because it's still their time. But this is not the appropriate ending for the series based on the previous episodes. If for example the hole series is telling as that Jen fell for Wes and that she doesn't see any future together with Alex (especially after she gave him back his ring), there is no good reason that she will return to her time when the "love of her life" remains in the past. Besides what about to what Trip mentioned "I feel like this is my home now"? And what happened to the "memory adaptation" they had to go through in the future? after they said that they want to remember the year 2001, they should't have gone back to their time. We also know they didn't erased their memories based on the two episodes in the Wild Force series that they appeared. All of these illogical issues could have been solved if just all the time force rangers stayed in the present.
I enjoyed Time Force series the most from all the others. no doubt about it... The casting characters are great, the acting is above OK, the storyline is unique and very interesting, even the intro of this series I think is the best one. I wish that there will be more than 40 episodes of Time Force.
oh, and to all those who wonder who is the best pink ranger, let me make it perfectly clear: Jen is the best one! She is more dominant than all the others, her actress acts better than all the others, she is stronger than all the others, and you know what? she is even prettier than all the others. To all the Mighty Morphin fans, i gotta tell you: Jen > Kimberly
