A Date with Darkness: The Trial and Capture of Andrew Luster (2003)
VERY good!
I was a big fan of "The Practice" until recently (due to the cast cuts, including Marla), which is one of the main reasons why I wanted to watch this film - loved Marla's work on the show and her character Lucy. Another reason is just because it looked so good - and it WAS! I'd have to agree with the above poster that states some of the content is explicit, but all in all it was great! The ladies gave wonderful performances. If you missed it, don't worry - Lifetime repeats like crazy. If you get the chance, you should definately sit down and watch. Two thumbs up!
Sweetwater (1999)
Sweet Movie
I bought this movie recently and I gotta say - it's pretty good. I enjoyed watching the story of the band unfold and I thought Kelli Williams and Amy Jo Johnson were wonderful. Its such a bittersweet story, but with a great ending. Highly recommended!
Rebecca (1940)
Two thumbs up!
This movie is AWESOME! I read the book before renting it, and was overjoyed to see that the movie was just as chilling as the book. Fontaine, Olivier and Anderson give amazing performances and the film in all was worthy of its Best Picture Oscar. Keeps you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.
Zapped Again! (1990)
Not the best, yet not the worst...
I was reading some of the user comments and one in particular caught my eye as it said pretty much all that I was thinking. I just recently caught this on USA, and I must say it's not half bad. I mean - I've surely seen a lot worse. Kelli Williams is one of my favorite actresses (LOVED her on The Practice!) and to see her as a *nerdy girl* (which, in my opinion, she wasn't) was different. Before watching, I read an interview she did that quoted her on this movie, saying it was bad (which - if you've seen her other work - Practice or There Goes My Baby does make sense). I thought it was nice and I thought her presence in the film made a big difference.
Jersey Girl (1992)
simply irresistable...
I just saw this movie for the first time yesterday and I must say it was SWEET! I absolutely adored it - romantic, funny and with a great ending. PLUS - girls - super Practice hottie Dylan McDermott is the leading man...WHO could ask for more????? Two thumbs up!
