Batman Begins (2005)
Great movie
Easily my favorite Batman movie.
This and Spider-Man 2 are, in my opinion, the best comic book movies out. The thing I liked most about this movie is that it was straight to the point. Most comic book movies that show the beginnings are too slow and have moments no one cares about. This has down everything that made Bruce Wayne become Batman and it is the truly the Batman I wanted to see. David Goyer did a amazing job writing this.
My only advice to everyone is that if you go comparing this to the Tim Burton/Michael Keaton version, don't bother seeing it. you need to realize that this is a different interpretation, but hopefully it will not disappoint you.
Johnson Family Vacation (2004)
Slowly back away from Johnson Family Vacation, I repeat...
Johnson Family Vacation, starring two of the kings of comedy, Steve Harvey and Cedric the Entertainer. You would think this movie would be very funny, but it is far from funny. First off, the acting was horrible. Lil Bow Wow and Solange Knowles were absolutely awful and were probably the worst edition to the picture. Cedric the Entertainer is an hilarious comedian, but in this, is hardly ever funny except in a couple of scenes at the most. Beside that, the movie is hard to sit through. At first, you think well, maybe it just needs to get started up, but it stays a slow, boring pace the whole time. The story and acting of this movie were a huge let-down. I still can't believe the stars of this movie were involved. Trust me, stay far, far away.
X2 (2003)
Whoa
Not only a step up from the original, but a step up for comic book movies as a whole. My only disappointment was how Sabretooth and Lady Deathstrike were not included in the storyline more like the comic. Other than that, plenty of action for the hardcore comic fans and a great story for the average movie-goer.
The Bernie Mac Show (2001)
Finally, something everyone wants to say!
We finally have a show that has people doing and saying things we all want to, but are afraid to. That along with complete comedy is the perfect combo for one of the most hilarious shows on TV today. Bernie Mac does not hold back when he has something to say. I give this 10 out of 10.
