My Scientology Movie (2015)

Gets a 10 to offset the 1's given by Scientologists

I'm all actuality it was probably about a 7. It's enjoyable but it's not as though we learn anything that we haven't already known. While watching I couldn't help feel for the actors that took part in the film and wondering if they were then targeted by Scientologists. It's one thing if you're a wealthy person and are targeted but a struggling actor that may be affected in a tight knit group of Hollywood folk. I hope that's not the case. An entertaining film, especially if you enjoy Louis.

Thoughts on the show... the accent is a bit much, over exaggerated. It's got a very "Shonda Rhimes feel to it as if I was watching Greys Anatomy, Scandal, and sone others thrown into a blender with a bunch of unlikable characters and really bad music. It's difficult to tel what they want you to believe is real and what could very well be some sort of a dream sequence or something.

The "Scriberian" writers, Anders Holm, the photographer and Anna's Lawyer are the only decent characters in this show. Everything I've seen involving her real life lawyer the gentleman playing him did a great job.

But seriously can we stop making these AWFUL HUMANS famous. If anything vilify her. I think this is really trying to get you to believe that she is just sone scared little girl with Daddy issues. Any person that would allow her "friend" to lose her job, eat 62k dollars in charges, fear for her life in a foreign country is a god awful human. But seriously, everyone avoided the signs and seen only what they wanted to in this story.

It's entertaining. If you have 9 hours to kill go for it. Just know that it's extremely Hollywood and with anything that is "based on true events" it's probably only minimally factual. But I guess it gets a pass as we're shown every episode "except for the parts that are entirely made up"

Sit back, strap in, have some friends over and enjoy some of the best kills that you could ever see in a film. It's just good fun. Obviously they knew they weren't making The Godfather. You have Jason, Super Huge/Steroid/Gigantor Jason... in Space. What exactly were you expecting. Take regular terrifying Jason, n then Jack him up and raise the volume to Ten.

It's a goofy movie for sure. It may not know exactly what kind of film it wants to be. What it does right it does very right. When it's goofy, it's straight goofy. Just enjoy with friends. Laugh a little, it's horror. Pretty sure this is Horror/Comedy cause it's too crazy to take itself seriously.

After watching behind the scenes footage from a Crystal Lake Memories, I enjoy this film a bit more. They could have very easily just sent some kids to camp or space for that matter and had Jason kill the counselors in various different ways. It's been done 8 times prior, why not do it again? But they thought out of the box and tried something completely different n I applaud them for that. The opening sequence is legit, super awesome. However; it's going to be very difficult to have what seems like "regular people" take on the form of Jason and do Jason like things. It's a completely different movie that has an actual storyline, perhaps this film is just too smart for the average horror fan. Idk, it is what it is. Had its faults, has its good parts. More good than bad.

Clownhouse (1989)

I couldn't do that to the young men in this film that worked extremely hard to make this film enjoyable. Easy to see the talent a young Sam Rockwell possess as he is great as always in this film. Director can rot for all I care.

Generation Hustle: A Scam with a Beat (2021) Season 1, Episode 10

I feel like HBO was his biggest scam...

Seemed to me like this whole episode was a poorly produced scam in itself. The one interviewer is the "Biggest rapper in Detroit".... Unfortunately noooo. Idk it's tough to believe anything this kid says. I'm sure he's gotten a couple of dollars from revved up dudes on the internet but his whole story is ridiculous.

American Horror Stories: Game Over (2021) Season 1, Episode 7

Really surprised at all the negative reviews...

I really don't understand all the negativity. Is it as good as any season of AHS, No. Is it as bad as everyone thinks it is, No. Well, The Naughty List was really bad but they all can't be winners. I thought this was the best episode of the season, just ahead of Ba'al. People are saying "I don't know which universe we were in throughout the episode." These reviewers are trying to make sense of a show that is absolutely bananas. This isn't Night of the Living Dead, there aren't any "Rules" that need to be followed. Just watch and have fun. Which I did. It's not the Exorcist but it most certainly isn't deserving of a 1-3 rating. It's a 48 minute escape from the bullshiz that is happening in reality. Just shut up and enjoy it, quit over analyzing it, it's fun. These reviews are written by the same people that make a Yelp review when they get cold fries at McDonald's.

Wish it were longer to show in detail how this franchise got screwed...

My only knock on this would be that I wish it were longer so that more details could be released about how this franchise has been SEVERELY DAMAGED BY THE HIGHER UPS. From the First movie to the Return of TCM Next Generation everyone involved and the movies itself were handcuffed, cut, destroyed, pilfered upon, and straight screwed over in ways that only Hollywood can do. But I guess it's true what they say, the people with the money have the power. It's just sad.
