Moonfall (2022)
Enjoyed it, don't limit yourselves to modern science
To the people who like "Stories or theories" about pre-our-modern-civilizations, this was actually a very good movie. The theories that moon was placed there some millions or billions of years ago, and perhaps actually built by either "beings that monitor us" or "our ancestors that escaped from the earth", how the location and size of the moon aren't "accidental", and moon actually has a greater power to the earth than most of us would believe, astrologically, ocean tides, keep certain things in place, gives us time, shows us navigation, etc. Astrologically, the moon keeps us sane, it manages our emotions. I enjoyed this movie. May not be true, for the most parts, but I do believe the moon isn't accidental, there's some thing about it. This movie follows the storyline of 2012 strictly, which is fair, you don't always need new ideas, it's how you presented it. This movie isn't a low budget one, so it's all good.
The Good Nurse (2022)
Love this movie but don't think I can ever rewatch it
Since it's based on a true story, I can never rewatch it, like Changeling. Too emotional, and it hurts. Thank you for telling the story. Sixteen years he'd worked as a nurse, as many as 400 lives may be taken.... He never told why he did it, and Eddie's "I can't I can't I can't I cant.'' Many does not have the ability to understand why they do what they do, and what has led them to do what they do. You can see the struggle in Eddie's acting , as Charles most probably didn't know why either. Best leading actress and actor, brought audience into the mood. Also, very well written and set out. Though it was very brief in the movie, but Amy and Charles friendship was very well presented.
Searching (2018)
Great but... spoilers alert
The film was great. Very well played. The pace was good. I can't say it worths $13 for the ticket kind of movie but I would definitely watch it at home. Not relaxing film, quite intense indeed.
One thing that doesn't make sense. While you're watching it, you'd be thinking why hasn't the detective checked all of these on her own, and let the dad did it himself, and why hasn't she already checked on all family members and so. It ties in the end that detective Vick was trying to cover up for her son.
BUT the only part that really doesn't quite sound right is that... I don't think detective Vick has made the right choice to begin. She wasn't impulsive. Given she's an experienced detective, Her judgment in choosing to cover up for her son is completely irrational. It was an accident- She didn't have to do that. Her son, if he's "different " than others, he might not have to go to jail for it. In the end, she unfolds that her son pushed her down by accident- at that point, I'd assume that she's telling the truth.
