Incredibly underrated
14 March 2011
After watching the trailer for Battle: LA, I was initially impressed and went to the theater with relatively low expectations, fearing that it would be a standard B- movie. I was in for a huge surprise, as is anyone that is willing to put aside the bullcrap "I'm a critic" and watch the movie because you want to be entertained. The director did an incredible job piecing this together, keeping it intriguing throughout the whole film, with several twists (obviously some were to be expected, but regardless it was interesting to see how the characters worked through it.) I honestly believe that the critics can say what they want about a film, and change people's opinions based on what they say, in this case, they negatively bombed a movie that deserves a lot more praise than it's getting. Battle: LA is an action packed "Black hawk down" meets "Cloverfield/District 9" and it does an incredible job at fulfilling the attempt of being those 3 movies in one.

Obviously everyone is going to have their own opinions on this, but when did it become a standard to go to a movie to be a critic and not to be entertained? Does it matter that the story was clichéd; Avatar's was even more so than this! But Avatar was fun to watch, to be entertained, not to be a critic, as is Battle: LA. This is a movie that I would be happy to see in the theaters again, it's an action packed alien thrill ride that deserves more than it's getting.

Lost: The End: Part 1 (2010)
Season 6, Episode 17

An amazing finish, to an amazing series...
24 May 2010
Warning: Spoilers
Well, it's over. The TV series that captivated audiences worldwide for the last 6 years made it's final close last night, in a shocking, tear jerking, yet satisfying episode. The two worlds, parallel to each other are finally explained, and while it wasn't what a lot of people wanted to see, I find it's the best possible ending considering the position that the writers were in.

The MIB and Jack finally settle the long conflict, the heart of the island is explained slightly more, although it was rather unsatisfying. And there were still many, many mystery's left unexplained. However, despite all of this, the ultimate ending, the characters development, and final ultimate happiness was great to see. We learn the Hurley and Ben ended up watching the Island, not knowing who they passed it on to, but it doesn't matter much to me. We all will, and do die in the end. While this ending for many will be tough, for me, although it was amazingly simple, and great, it seemed rushed, and not the greatest. But like I said previously, given the situation, I honestly think it's the best outcome that is possible.

Many mystery's are left unexplained, but in this final episode, the characters break through their weak sides, finally get together, and move on. I'd like to give high credits to Jack Bender, for directing an amazing episode, to the writers, creators, crew, actors, actresses etc. They've all done an amazing job, creating what is for me, the best and most thrilling TV show I've ever seen.

The Matrix: Path of Neo (2005 Video Game)
7/10
Good, but not great
14 March 2009
After waiting to be able to play this game for a while I finally had a chance. After playing the first bit, I was really starting to enjoy it, but it started to go downhill after a while. It's a fun game, no doubt about that, but it isn't something that I think I would play twice. If you enjoyed the Matrix, and want to play it, go ahead! It's fun and enjoyable. However if you haven't seen the Matrix and want to play this game, go see the movie (preferably all 3) first. As the movies really tie into the game, it would be best if you saw at least the first one before playing.

The game is okay for graphics (could be better) and the sound/audio is okay, but there are some bugs that you may run into, and some of the levels are just ridiculously annoying. But aside from these minor setbacks, it's a pretty good game.

Underrated
15 July 2008
When I saw the reviews for this movie, I thought that it wasn't going to be that good. But it is defiantly an extremely underrated movie.

I saw it on VHS and enjoyed it a lot. Maybe not something you may all want to see, but if you are looking for a movie, take the time to watch it.

The name may seem a bit corny and lets admit, that it is. But the fact that it came out when the Sci-Fi era was ending and that they didn't put the money into advertising, may be why it is considered one of the worst movie's ever.

I enjoyed it, and recommend it if you need a movie to watch.
