Vishwaroopam (2013)
Good work from Kamal
Not many times you will find an Indian movie on global terrorism. This one definitely is and done on a grandeur scale. Since this movie is acted and directed by a legend Kamal Hassan (one of the finest actors in the world), it will come to the spot light/ discussion for many viewers in India. Movies of this type should be welcomed that stands apart from others.
Movie doesn't have a great story but wonderful screen play that keeps the viewers focused. Technically brilliant and use of special effects blended with the film. Any actor could have donned Kamal's role, so he has show his identity and that fits the Kathak teacher (oh! well he does dance well). Other characters did their bits. America/ Afghanistan is shown in good detail and the actions sequence are real.
Its worth watching and looking forward to the part II.
Dasavatharam (2008)
Truly the best Indian film to-date - Kamal rocks!!!!
Vow! Fantastic. An fast paced action thriller, this is the best Indian movie ever........
A movie, which I went into the theatre with little expectation, came out with such enjoyment that, I am planning to see it again. In the world of cinema no one has acted in 10 varied roles in one movie. Most of the 10 characters were portrayed with such diligence with only few not up to the mark (in comparison with others, but by itself they are good).
You don't need to be anyone's fan to watch this movie. Just go and watch with no threads attached and you won't be disappointed. You cannot expect a great screenplay in a movie such as these, as 10 characters have to be intercepted without logic. A clean entertainment in the ropes of Hollywood style computer graphics and action.
