Well, you can't expect much from a director whose forte is blowing up second hand vehicles, and you can't expect SRK to lose the opportunity of earning 100 crore+ with a nonsense movie when everyone from Salman Khan to Ajay Devgan is running blindly after the money. But to my amusement SRK has proved himself to be a lot more entertaining than his "blockbuster" contemporaries.
The concept of north-meets-south has enormous opportunities to create humor given the language difference and to an extent this movie fares well in that department. SRK Plays the role of a 40 year old(virgin!) who incidentally gets entangled in a strange situation and travels to Deepika's village with her. All the south-Indian actors are up to the mark and Deepika is as charming as ever, and SRK...for better or for worse people liked him in Jab Tak Hai Jaan and I'm sure they will love him in this movie too. The soundtrack is okay, the shooting locations are scenic. Story and dialogs are second-grade...but maybe thats what makes a movie super-hit in our country these days.
Overall, an okay movie which you can watch with your family and have a couple of laughs.
