Why is this show being canceled??????????
2 March 2013
Unfortunately for me I didn't come across this show until the last regular episode aired. My niece watches it all the time and I finally sat down and watched it with her, and I liked it immediately. Likable characters, and funny story lines. My favorite characters; Jade, Cat, and Rex ( yes, the puppet ). I wish I had had a teacher like Sikowitz. I hope Nickelodeon changes their mind but it's highly unlikely, even though it's the most popular show they have right now, if I read correctly. I hope all the main characters go on to future success. Dan Schneider had yet another hit with this show, and I'm sure will have another new show out soon.

Doesn't anyone remember this show??
4 January 2008
One of my favorite's growing up, I remember watching this on the old "Cap'n Penny" show on channel 5 out of Cleveland. The basic premise hosted by Cliff Norton was he would start the show as a character in a certain occupation that would say he learned everything from his Uncle, then the show would turn to an old "Keystone Cops" era comedy short with Cliff Norton doing a narrative with background music and sound effects added. The short would last about 5 minutes when it would go back to Cliff Norton for a final gag.I wish I could find these on VHS or DVD, I'd buy them all. I think there were 130 episodes altogether. Anyone with info on where I can purchase these would be greatly appreciated.

Hannity & Colmes (1996–2008)

Fair and Balanced My A**
30 August 2006
First of all, Sean Hannity has to be the biggest right-wing gas-bag I've ever heard. If you're a Liberal you might as well be a leper in his eyes. It's either his way or no way. Alan Colmes is much more respectful to the guests even if they're conservative. Hannity needs to get some manners and keep his mouth shut. I'm surprised the show has lasted as long as it has. What makes me laugh is he thinks George W. Bush is the greatest President ever, as least thats the way he acts. Hopefully in '08 we get a Democrat back in the White House so I can watch Sean Hannity cry and whine every night about not having a Conservative Republican in the White House.

Please........enough with the remakes.....PLEASE!!
20 March 2006
I took my niece and nephew to go see this, they begged me to take them. After about 45 minutes they were begging me to take them home, NO KIDDING!! After much debating we left with about 20 minutes left. That was $$ and time well spent, YEE HA!! I've rarely seen a remake I liked for a few exception ( The Thing, i.e.). Even seeing the previews on TV beforehand really didn't spark my interests, I didn't think the highlights were that funny. Tim Allen could/can do better picking his roles, like maybe doing more adult comedies and staying away from the kiddie fare. I enjoyed the original hands down but this version really didn't show me anything new. 1/10

Wow, was this bad
15 March 2006
So bad it's not even good bad. The only redeeming value this movie had was T & A shots. Locale shots were OK, but the continuity, acting, dialogue was Grade F. A real snoozefest for the first hour or so, until the carnage begins. You might finding yourself fast forwarding until some action starts, so you have been warned. At least the cover art was somewhat decent. My ex-wife wasted $7.50 on this DVD and an hour and a half of her time.........then it was my turn, she said I HAVE to watch this since I like low budget entertainment. I have to say it wasn't worth the time for any low budget aficionado. But watch if you must, just to say to your friends you survived the "Blood Curse".

Not meant to be taken seriously....not meant to be taken as a comedy either
8 March 2006
One of the most God awful movies I've ever seen . It's about frickin' time Pauly Shore was kept from making cinematic crap after this turd ball. When this movie came out to theaters and not even seeing any previews I sensed it was going to be a stinker, since I saw most of Pauly Shore's previous movies and had yet to utter even a single laugh or chuckle. Jury Duty was only mildly amusing, Son In Law sucked,In The Army Now sucked. I enjoy stupid humor but stupid with no humor is just plain annoying, and that's what you get with a Pauly Shore movie. Now if we can just get Adam Sandler to follow suit. Stay away from this movie unless you have a death wish.

Should be called "The Woody Paige Show"
28 February 2006
This could be considered a conspiracy theory, but ever since Woody Paige left the Denver Post for New York and became a regular on Cold Pizza he wins almost ALL the time, and when he doesn't win he's usually in the showdown. I like Woody Paige, but his is not the only opinion around and Tony Reali doesn't understand that. The other panelist's have compelling arguments too, and I enjoy then all. Tim Cowlishaw, Michael Smith, Kevin Blackistone, A.J. Adande are all good too....did I mention Jay Mariotti? The show gets on my nerves anymore with Woody getting special treatment (by that I mean bonus points to keep him in the game). It's almost enough to keep me from watching. Anyone that watches this show keep this in mind and see if I'm wrong.

Bob the Builder (1997–2018)
Good Show for Big Kids Like Me
12 December 2005
I just got addicted to this show just recently, when my 3 year old nephew wanted some Bob the Builder DVD's for Christmas. I watched them just to make sure they played OK............wait.......OK, I was curious too. I thoroughly enjoyed all 3 DVD's I bought. The show isn't preachy but teaches kids the importance of teamwork and getting along. At first I wasn't sure about the "pumpkinhead character" which turned out to be Spud, but he's my favorite character now. Highly recommended for small and big kids alike. I'm not sure I want to part with these DVD';s now, maybe I'll buy my nephew something else for Christmas. No, I'm kidding.

Warning: Spoilers
One of Jeff Wincott's better films. Lot's of karate and a** kicking in this movie. It's been awhile since I've seen it but Jeff Wincott and Gary Hudson are brothers. Jeff's the good cop and Gary is the not-so-good cop. They end up butting head's later on but I won't go there. Jeff is ripped and Gary's not-so-ripped. Gary's taking drug money and using it to better his quality of life.(At least I think that's how it goes). They both get fatherly advice from their Dad played by character actor everyman Richard Jaeckel. Incidentally this was his last movie, he died of cancer in 1997. Seeing how withdrawn and sick he looked here suggests he wasn't doing too well at the time of filming. God rest his soul.

Oh My God
25 September 2005
Awful, awful, awful......I don't know which is better, watching this trash or a Pauly Shore movie. Maybe neither? It's been a long time since I've seen this movie, but I do remember how bad it was. Not funny, no plot, just a complete waste of time. The movie budget was probably about $17.00. Eddie Deezen is always a good comic relief in most movies he's in and I do remember Linda Kerridge was nice eye candy during her 15 minutes of fame, but I would rather have my fingernails pulled out than have to sit thru viewing Surf II again. I always enjoy watching a good "bad" movie but the powers that be couldn't even get THAT right.Thank God there was never a Surf I or Surf III.

Cinematic Pig Slop
9 August 2005
Denver Pyle and Sorrel Booke would roll in their graves if he knew what a half-a$$ adaption Hollywood made of The Dukes of Hazzard TV show. Johnny Knoxville acts like he does in Jackass, Seann William Scott acts like Stifler and Jessica Simpson acts like..........well, Jessica Simpson. Cardboard cutouts could act better than she can. The TV show was just OK anyway,it didn't merit a wide screen adaption. Hollywood must really be running short on original ideas to keep making these ^%$#@ remakes!!! Burt and Willie really stooped for this one. I'm sure this will make IMDb's bottom 100 list.....at least that's what I'm praying for. Everyone in this movie should leave it off their resume, except for Jessica Simpson, since in her case it doesn't matter. She couldn't lead ants to a picnic.

This film gave me a headache
9 August 2005
Totally unfunny..........I may have laughed once. Or twice. More stupid than anything. It did have one redeeming factor: David Spade wasn't in it. Although, if I had to watch this movie again, I would probably WANT him in it. But David Spade will go on to do his own unfunny movies, as I have found out. If you like Chris Farley you'll probably at least sit thru this mess, unless you want to watch some other unfunny comic's, i.e. watch a David Spade movie, or a Adam Sandler movie, or a Pauly Shore movie.....now THOSE would be a real waste of time. Why do I have to have 10 lines of text when I can't think of anything else to say about this movie except it's BAD???

Lots of plot holes
12 July 2005
Warning: Spoilers
I've watched this movie as many times as it's shown on cable to see if I can understand it any better after each viewing. While it's entertaining to some extent it has lots of plot holes that never get explained (i.e. why the jogger kept losing his limbs one by one in the hospital). I figured that one out eventually but there are still a bunch that were left unexplained. My favorite character was Lt. Bellaver and he was killed off towards the end........and answer me this......since when can a person lose a hand after getting clubbed with a fire extinguisher????? If a remake were ever considered it wouldn't take much to improve on this version. Like I said, the plot jumps too much from one thing to another that get left unanswered............but still entertaining.

Way, Way, WAY over the top
16 June 2005
Don't get me wrong, I like Denzel Washington. I like John Lithgow. I just don't like them together in this movie! Too many implausible situations for me to believe anything like these events could actually happen in real life even though yea, I know, it's ONLY a movie. No real character development, just a lot of action, sex, violence. And we're supposed to believe Denzel, as the cop, paid his way through law school?? One scene towards the end was right out of "White Heat". I'm sure they weren't paying homage to that excellent James Cagney movie, the director probably just ran out of ideas. Watch once if you feel the need and forget about it.........or watch Philadelphia instead.

The Channel Guide gave it a 1 star rating.......................I agree
16 June 2005
Warning: Spoilers
Way, way, way over the top for me...........Michael Keaton's character seems almost like a Hannibal Lecter type.........he escapes, he kills, he gets away (almost). He defeats an army of cops, takes over a prison, what can he possibly do to top this?? His performance is awesome, but the plausibility of certain events just didn't register with me, besides, the ending was pretty much obvious as you sit and watch the last 5-10 minutes. I don't think the director knew what kind of movie he / she wanted to make. You pretty much knew what was going to happen before it happened. Andy Garcia's performance was OK, he's made better role choices, that's for sure. Thumbs down.............all the way.

Didn't Care for It
27 May 2005
I watched it once, didn't think it was all that. I watched it a second time just to see if I'd change my mind...........I didn't. Too many computer generated effects, the camera angles zoomed in, out, all over the place, made me think I was on a amusement park ride. People are in and out of scenes without explanation. The movie was very confusing. I understand that this was a sequel to "Pitch Black", which I liked, but there's what, a 7 year span between the two?? How am I supposed to remember who's who from the first movie, besides Vin Diesel ?????????? The ending of "Riddick" much says "another sequel is coming".........I'll be sure to miss it.

Pretty Bad
17 February 2005
Rip Torn makes for a good heavy, but the action sequences are poorly choreographed (sic?) . I've always liked Jim Brown as an actor, but this is not one of his best. Bad guys get shot on rooftops and they seemingly jump off when hit. All kinds of gunfire come from the mobsters but our "heroes" never get shot.............and on the other hand, our heroes never miss. And what happens to Jim Brown's female friend and Cameron Mitchell towards the end of the movie? It seems the screenwriter forgot about them..........watch it and see what I mean. Good enough for one viewing, especially if you want to see Stella Stevens in a rare nude scene and that's it.

Maury (1991–2022)
Pathetic Show
9 February 2005
The writers for the Maury show must ran out of show ideas a long time ago. All you see here is DNA test results, out of control teens,"is it a man or a woman?".............and that's it. Throw in some over acting from some of the guests that get overly emotional by walking off the set or sitting in a fetal position in a corner somewhere during the DNA Test Results shows. Did I mention Maury's exploitive way of showing concern by putting his arm around them? If you went a year without tuning in you would find the same subject matter down the road. Watch some other "classier" talk shows.........oh, wait a minute, there aren't any, never mind.

About as funny as Joe Dirt.........meaning it wasn't
31 January 2005
David Spade movies fall into the same category as Adam Sandler movies, or Pauly Shore movies..............THEY'RE NOT FUNNY!!!!!!!!! I never cared once for the Dickie Roberts character no matter what scene he was in, he was too annoying, what his adopted "Mom" saw in him was anyone's guess...........I laughed once, which was one more time than I did in all of "Joe Dirt".The sing-along at the closing credits was good, and that's about it. Watch once and fuggetaboutit. Watch BASEketball, or Dodgeball instead.................Now THOSE are funny. Here's my running score: Adam Sandler= 1 funny movie (Happy Gilmore) Pauly Shore= 0 funny movies David Spade= 0.0.

God, What a Sucker I Was
21 December 2004
99% of all the reviews for this movie are correct.............the packaging makes you believe that it's a zombie movie.........but the only thing dead in this movie is the movie itself. The acting wasn't bad, there just wasn't any freaking zombies. Stay away if possible, unless you like a "bugs-that-sting-you-and-make-you-decompose" type of movie. The packing also noted that the movie was rated "R" for graphic violence..........where was the violence?????????? A complete waste of time. Talisa Soto makes for some cool eye candy when she's not watching urban kids jump rope and singing a stupid song. Again, don't bother.......................

Road Rage (2000 TV Movie)
I developed Movie Rage after watching this trash
31 January 2003
Poor acting, poor dialogue, and the editing sucked. The way Danielle Brett p***ed and moaned throughout the movie I was hoping Casper Van Dien would've dropped her off...................a cliff. Don't waste your time, it's not even a "so bad it's good " movie.

Haven't we seen this all before??
16 December 2002
First of all, I'm not a J.Lo fan. I only went to see this because of my wife. I knew this movie reaked of a "chick-flick" and I was right. Predictable piece of cinematic fluff whose storyline has been done better in previous movies (Pretty Woman). 1/10

Not the best Adam Sandler movie by a long shot. A few funny scenes and a dumb love story plotline that will put you to sleep. Happy Gilmore was much better. Avoid this movie at all possible. Don't waste your time.

Enjoyable Low Budget Horror
2 November 2002
I was surprised how well I liked this movie. Not very scary, but original and it looked like everyone was having a good time with their particular roles. Debbie Rochon added some nice eye candy to the whole premise. I was also surprised to see this movie was filmed not far from my hometown. Highly recommended for fans of low budget horror.

The Zombie Chronicles (2001 Video)
Good Low Budget Horror
2 November 2002
As a fan of these kind of movies, I enjoy low budget entertainment like this movie had to offer. I especially was interested in the opening trailers of other movies that "Brain Damage" has made and am going to see if I can find these somewhere. But getting back to this one, if you like this kind of genre, I highly recommend it. Good makeup effects for the budget they had.
