Getting out of a hole
29 July 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Liane Moriarty constructed an excellent ending to her book. Unexpected. Clever. Perfect. By not sticking to her work, the series writers spent the entire second season digging out of the hole they put the story in.

Strong woman becomes a puddle
3 April 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Ruth Wilson is depicted as a strong woman who pursues the truth but folds in the end. Any man who "wed" 4 women and brings 6 children into world is a criminal. Even in the time period of the story. Rage at her husband should have been Mrs. Wilson's response.

Location issue

This is for all episodes. Great series but it seems hard for the location scouts to create the mid-Atlantic geography. I just wish the Sierra Nevada mountain range and trees that only grow in California didn't appear.

A two plus hour movie that should be 30 minutes
20 May 2017
A boring story with boring music. It was painfully long. The praise heaped on it leaves me in disbelief except that Hollywood loves Hollywood. Emma Stone is the latest in line of anorexic looking actresses. I felt scammed by the reviews into watching it longer than I felt any interest in doing so. The characters didn't engage and the music didn't please.
