Okay, but doesn't stand out
26 February 2016
By today's standards, this episode is average at most. Nothing really stands out, even for a 200th episode. The group gets together to celebrate Sheldon's birthday and they invite a few surprise guests over, as well. Adam West hardly does a thing and Leslie Winkle (Gilbert) only appears briefly, so the episode doesn't really stand out and blends in with most of the season. With the 200th episode, you expect something special, something that impacts and changes the lives of the characters. For example, the 100th episode got Penny and Leonard back together! Maybe the writers should have waited a couple of more episodes before announcing Bernadette's pregnancy? That would have been a perfect impact for the 200th episode! There are some funny wisecracks and even a sentimental moment between Sheldon and Penny, but if you're expecting something ground breaking from this, you're in for a disappointment.

Teen Titans: Go (2005)
Season 5, Episode 10

Very Satisfying
28 March 2015
Warning: Spoilers
We finally get the origin story of how the Teen Titans came to be!!! And what an episode it was! Starfire is taken prisoner by an alien species called the Gordanians. After she escapes, she takes refuge on the nearest planet: Earth. One by one, the Titans meet and work together to stop the Gordanians from destroying the city in search for Starfire. There are a couple of things I find weird about this episode. Like why wait until now to tell us the origin story? Most of the episodes throughout the seasons are usually their own story be there might be something minor that connects them all to the entire story of the season. If this episode was a flashback I would understand. But no, the whole episode is dedicated to the origin story. It comes out of nowhere and surprises us. Seems pretty weird after the rest of the season has been focusing on the Titan's battles with the Brotherhood of Evil. My second problem is with Starfire and Raven. Their personalities seem more different than usual. Yes, I know these are the early days when the Titans first met, but I don't feel much of a connection between them in this episode and who they are now. In this episode, Starfire is a bit more hostile and less lighthearted and innocent as she is in the rest of the show. Raven, on the other hand, is much more easy going and shy. She's not as sarcastic or reserved as we know her to be. These problems don't make the episode any less enjoyable, though. I still consider it one of the shows best!!!

Eragon (2006)

"I expected more!"
28 September 2008
Such a let down. Nothing like the book. I had high hopes to see this movie ever since I read the book and they slaughtered it. Bad story, cheesy acting and some lame makeup, especially with Galbatorix. What was the deal with showing him with those stupid looking finger nails at the end. Why did Durza change? I liked how he looked at the beginning half of the movie, but before the battle at the end, all the makeup changed and he looked very different. When my mom saw the movie, she asked if it was a different Shade. Why were the dwarfs tall? Where were Arya's pointy ears? This was a very low budget film. Why? Make it a big budget!! It was an excellent book, it deserves an excellent movie.

Even Stevens (2000–2003)
9/10
It brings the family together.
5 February 2008
Even Stevens is one of the only shows on TV, these days, that brings the family together. I've loved Shia Labeouf ever since. He was perfect for the part of "Lewis". Christy Carlson Romano is excellent as "Ren". And who could forget Steven Anthony Lawrence as "Beans". My dad and I love to watch it whenever it's on. The entire cast makes us laugh all the time. Sometimes during dinner we'd have the TV on in the next room and listen to it like listening to the radio. And whenever it's an episode my dad doesn't remember, but I remember perfectly, I describe the scene to him. My favorite character is Lewis. Even though he plays a lot of pranks, he has a good heart. An excellent show!!
