Dilwale (2015)
What was that?
I am very angry with myself. I allowed this garbage to flow for 2.5 hours without walking out.
I hate this movie so much. The makers have taken, we, the audience for a ride assuming we have low IQs who will laugh at stupid jokes, raise our eyebrows with awe to the picturesque song locations
What is happening to you SRK and Kajol. Didn't you read the script? The story is all over, no plot, no character development. SRK looks grumpy from start to end. He was supposed to carry weight of the whole movie and let other develop around him. Were you forced to sign this movie? It is a very loose adaption of The Best of Me. Even Johnny Lever was annoying. His character was a nuisance as so was the garage owner. I can't believe a star cast can go horribly wrong. Boman Irani too was wasted.
I had average expectations of this movie but I was so wrong. The worst movie by far this year and perhaps SRK-Kajol. I would rather have watched King Uncle. Please do not insult us by making such dumb flicks.
Ra.One (2011)
Boring
Although the songs kept me a little awake, I must say most of the movie was boring so much so I literally fell asleep for about 10-15 minutes. Let me assure you, I only fall asleep if the movie is bad and Ra.One unfortunately fits into this category in spite of my high expectations (partly created by the media!)
A movie in this genre, the director and VFX department had oceans of creativity but the best they could do is borrowing concepts from T2 and Robot. There was not a moment in the entire film I felt emotional, humorous or excited. The director did not bother about character development at all and I felt all the performances of all actors were wooden.
Dialogues were lame and lacking humor where they were intended. Some action sequences were really unnecessary especially at the beginning and at Mumbai Airport.
Overall, I didn't expect such a lame project by SRK and it further adds wounds when it is portrayed as the most expensive movie even made in the history of Indian cinema. I would rather have paid the cinema ticket to have watched SRK's previous releases. They are to-date much much better. 1 star just for SRK being in the movie and a second star for the effort put in special effects
I hope SRK will act wise in his next project. Please do not do this again!!
The Time Machine (2002)
Time will tell
I have watched this movie more than 10 times and I never get tired watching it. I think the movie has been greatly under-rated and I fail to see a reason why. People say the original movie of 1960 is much better so I decided to watch both movies back-to-back and the later one clearly outweighs its predecessor in many departments
The music and score is one of the best I have heard in a movie and each score fits perfectly with the scene. The time travel sequences were brilliantly executed and they are one of my favorite. Although the idea behind creating the time machine is somewhat surreal, I completely understand the time traveler's grief and his impossible pursuit of changing the past. However, I felt the movie could have lasted for long and not hurried into the climax by introducing the ubber morlock
Partner (2007)
Salman's worst performance
There wasn't a 0 in the voting option so i was compelled to use the next available figure.
It is a sad day for bollywood when such type of movies which have star-cast actors is nothing more are than a bunch of juvenile acting, and an awful script.
This movie is nowhere near to be called a clone of Hitch. Salman khan with his usual take-off-you-shirt theme and Govinda with his in-humorous laughs. If somebody had told 2 decades ago that I would be writing a comment on Salman (after his success with Maine Pyar Kiya), I would have written him/her off.
