The Ring (2002)
Bad film, but scary as hell
This film truly scared me. I had nigthmares about it for a week. But after I thought about it, I realized the film was totally incoherent and it made no sense and the acting was bad (except for the little girl). Go eat a hot dog and have a better time.
The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002)
Brilliant Film, Equal to FOTR
What an amazing movie. THis should have won Best Picture over Chicago honestly. It is just breathtaking and dramatic and it just does everything right. Chicago is a bunch of mushy crap and the only thing good about it was Queen Latifah and Zeta Jones. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FILM!
X-Men (2000)
Ok, not very good
This movie was too much hype for a mediocre movie. The Holocaust scene atthe beginning is just down rigth depressing, and it satys with you the entire movie. Good end sequences. Everything before that sucked really badly. I recommend Spider Man if you want to see a good comic book movie, and that got nominated for an Oscar. Shame on you Ian Mckellen, you're better than this. I highly recommend the sequel X2: X Men United. A major improvement over this rubbish.
A Beautiful Mind (2001)
Not better than LOTR- Connely was great
This film didn't blow me out of the water like LOTR, but it was good. I don't think that it should have won over LOTR though- which was obviously a better movie all around. The highligth of this film was Jennifer Connely- she was amazing and totally deserved the Oscar. Russel Crowe was also brilliant. This was the year of the snubbs at the Oscars. Denzel sucked in Training Day and LOTR was better than this- this should have won BEST DIRECTOR< ACTOR< AND SUPPRTING ACTRESS and thats it.
A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001)
Best Child Peformance, Worst Movie Ever Made Literally
This was one of the worst movies ever made in film history, as well as Spielberg's low point. Haley Joel Osment, however, gave one of the best child performances ever. That should save this shipwreck form total disgrace. Watch only to see Law's and Osment's performances, other wise you would have a better time playing blackjack with 3 year olds
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001)
One of the best films ever made
This is genuinely one of the best films ever produced. It delivers excellent performances (Mckellen is genius) and it leaves the viewer with a good feeling. A mUst see and a MUST BUY. 10 stars out of ten. The 3 hours goes very quickly. BRILLIANT FILM MAKING LADIES AND GENTLEMAN.
Hook (1991)
ONE OF THE BEST SPEILBERG FILMS
This is one of my favorite movies. I enjoyed it as a child and today as an adult. Speilberg's classic touch is emphasised on it and I highly recommend to anyone who wants to see a classic movie. Dustin Hoffman is excellent and so is Robin Williams. Very memorable movie and I really love it. GO BUY IT!
The Mod Squad (1999)
Quite Horrible
This may just be the worst movie of all time. Never have I seen such horrible film making before in my life. Its so bad I think I want to go watch Barney instead. I advise everyone who reads this to write a petition to get this movie off of our film history so we can never hear from it again. I give it 1 out of 10.
The Real World Movie: The Lost Season (2002)
AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL
Why would any1 want to make this movie? It is so god awful I can't even explain. I have never seen such a joke of a film before in my life. Even if you gave Steven Speilberg the directing job and Brian Grazer produce it would still be a sucker. It should be burned and forgotten forever.
The Perfect Storm (2000)
Awful piece of film
This movie is the worst piece of motion picture that Wolfgang Petersen has ever released. Any1 remember Air Force One? What happened Wolfy? Hopefully, Wolfgang can come out with a film in which we don't figure out the ending before it comes out. One word...BOMB!
