The Prince of Egypt (1998)
Movie #18
O Principe do Egito (PT-BR) (1998) Film #18
Continuing my journey of watching or rewatching animated films and making amateur reviews with it.
This is the eighteenth film I have watched on this profile.
The soundtrack of this film is surreal, it is so wonderful, the Brazilian dubbing of this film is wonderful, Guilherme Briggs' voice as God is chillingly good.
I'm not religious, but you can't help but get goosebumps during the first song and also during the plague segment.

Robots (2005)
Movie #17
Robôs (PT-BR) (2005) Film #17
Continuing my journey of watching or rewatching animated films and making amateur reviews with it.
This is the seventeenth film I have watched on this profile.
I love the Brazilian dubbing, but the star talent they used to dub the protagonist, the actor Reynaldo Gianecchini, is horrible, I believe he took too seriously that the protagonist is a robot, that all the lines are without feelings, it clearly seems that he is reading the lines without any emotion.
Whoever voiced Manivela is also a star talent, also actor André Mattos, did very well, and all the other Brazilian voice actors (really) did really well, especially Guilherme Briggs.
But I believe that even if there was good dubbing for the protagonist, it would still be bad for me, I'm from 1996 and maybe because I didn't watch this film as a child because of that, I didn't create an emotional bond with this film like other people They say they have it.

Movie #16
Pinocchio (PT-BR) (1940) Film #16
Continuing my journey of watching or rewatching animated films and making amateur reviews with it.
This is the sixteenth film I have watched on this profile.
I'm from 1996 and I watched this film for the first time as an adult.
It is extremely beautiful and detailed.
As much as I believe it is superior to the Snow White film (1937), I still don't think it is a wonderful Disney film, in fact, just to say, the only film that I would give 10 in Disney's Golden Age is the film from Bambi, but I'll have to rewatch it to see if I continue with that opinion.
It's incredible that for Pinocchio to "become a real boy" he has to do what a real boy wouldn't do.
Several issues were left in this film.
The Brazilian dubbing is very good in this film.

Surf's Up (2007)
Movie #15
Tá Dando Onda (PT-BR) (2007) Film #15
Continuing my journey of watching or rewatching animated films and making amateur reviews with it.
This is the fifteenth film I've watched on this profile, because I'm from 1996 I grew up watching this film.
The Brazilian dubbing of this film is wonderful, there are no words to describe how good this dubbing is, infinitely better than the original voices (sorry).
João Frango from Pantanal Mato Grosso is easily in my top 5 supporting actors in animated films, I hope he appears soon, as I'm sure I'll laugh a lot.
I just don't give it a 10 because I much prefer the scenes in which João Frango appears than the central plot.
I just don't hope for there to be a João Frango spin off because normally when a comic relief becomes the protagonist, then the film becomes bad, so it's better that way.

Pokémon: The Movie 2000 (PT-BR) (1999) Movie #14
Continuing my journey of watching or rewatching animated films and making amateur reviews with it.
This is the fourteenth film that I watch on this profile and unlike the first Pokémon film, I didn't find any errors in the rules of the games, however I think this film is inferior to the first, so I decided to give the same score to both films.
I think it's really cool how they make the graphics much more beautiful in the Pokémon movies than in the cartoon series.
Because I'm from 1996, I grew up watching the first four Pokémon movies, so I have a nostalgia for them.
The Brazilian dubbing is always very good, specifically the villain Lawrence who was dubbed very well, and I can't hear it in the original language.

A Bug's Life (1998)
Movie #13
Vida de Inseto (PT-BR)(1998) Film #13
Continuing my journey of watching or rewatching animated films and making amateur reviews with it.
This is the thirteenth film I've watched on this profile and because I'm from 1996, I grew up watching this film, but it's not in my top 10 Pixar films. I don't like comparing films from different studios, but in the case of Pixar's A Bug's Life and Dreamworks' AntZ, you can't avoid the comparison.
As much as I don't love this Pixar film, it is superior in everything compared to its sister film from DreamWorks, from the characters, plot, graphics, message conveyed.
For me, if you add all of Pixar's first classics, which range from 1995 to 2010, this Bug's Life film is the worst and most forgettable (in my opinion), but that's because Pixar at the beginning only had films perfect.
The Brazilian dubbing, as always, is superior to the original audio.
I really miss those "mistakes" in the post credits of these early Pixar animated films.

Os Irmãos Willoughby (PT-BR) (2020) Film #12
Continuing my journey of watching or rewatching animated films and making amateur reviews with it.
This is the twelfth film I have watched on this profile, it is the first time I have watched this film.
The animation in this film is very beautiful.
The story reminds me a little of Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, which already had a film starring Jim Carrey and also had a series starring Neil Patrick Harris.
The characters are good.
At several moments I had to suspend my disbelief a lot.
My favorite character was Jane who was very well voiced by the Brazilian singer, Vic Brow, in fact the Brazilian dubbing is always extremely good and again, it's better than the original voices

Hop (2011) Movie #11
Continuing my journey of watching or rewatching animated films and making amateur reviews.
This is the eleventh film I've watched on this profile.
I must be one of the few adults who loves films that mix cartoons and real people.
Maybe because I'm from 1996 and grew up watching Stuart Little, Garfield, Scooby-Doo and several other live-action films that mix this, that's why I like it more than other people.
The Brazilian dubbing might help with this, I can't like the actors who give the original voices to the animated characters in this type of film.
The soundtrack is very good in this film.

Scooby-Doo Goes Hollywood (1979)
Movie #10
Scooby-Doo em Hollywood (PT-BR) (1979) Movie #10
Continuing my journey of watching or rewatching films and series and then making amateur reviews with it.
This is the tenth film I've watched on this profile.
I'm from 1996, I grew up watching Scooby-Doo, but it's been a while since I watched it, this film (or short?) is the first time I've watched it and what a bad film (unfortunately).
The duration is 47 minutes, the shortest duration of the films I watched on this profile, and it seemed much longer, the film Coraline that I watched on this profile, has a duration of 100 minutes and flies by for me.
Maybe I'm not old enough to like Scooby-Doo anymore? I believe I am, even for the reason that I love the first live-action of Hollywood's most beloved dog, but this film is really bad.
I like to highlight cool parts or my favorite parts of films, but in this film in question, I can't highlight any.
The Brazilian dubbing is good, as I remembered from Scooby-Doo with the eternal Orlando Drummond, but even that didn't save it.

O Bicho Vai Pegar (PT-BR) (2006) Film #9
Continuing my journey of watching or rewatching animated films and making amateur reviews with it.
This is the ninth film I've watched on this profile and it's a good film.
Because I'm from 1996, I practically grew up watching this movie. It's not a wonderful film, but it gives you a few laughs.
Unlike Shrek's Donkey, Elliot is extremely irritating, they couldn't manage to make him as funny as Shrek's Donkey.
The Brazilian dubbing, as always, is very good.
I really like the scenes with the hunter thinking that the sausage dog is driving the trailer and taming its owners.

Movie #8
Klaus (2019) Movie #8
Continuing my journey of watching or rewatching films and making amateur reviews with it.
This is the eighth film I've watched on this profile, but it's the first film on my list that I've never seen.
What a wonderful and exciting film, this mix between 2D animation and 3D animation was very interesting, it was really beautiful.
I loved the characters, I love protagonists who have more mistakes and successes, and this protagonist reminds me a lot of the protagonist of the movie Emperor's New Groove.
Great Brazilian dubbing, as always the best.
I found it very interesting that those who really stopped this stupid war between adults were the children.
I was undecided between giving this film an 8 or 9, but I promised myself that when I was undecided, I would give the lowest score I was undecided on.
I confess that I cried at the part about the foreign girl winning her sled.
It was a great start for Netflix Animation Studios, it started with a wonderful film, unlike DreamWorks, which of the most famous animation studios had the worst first film.

Gekijôban Poketto Monsutâ: Myûtsû no Gyakushû (1998)
Movie #7
Pokémon: O Filme - Mewtwo Contra-Ataca (PT-BR) (1998) Movie #7
Continuing my journey of watching or rewatching films and making amateur reviews with it.
This is the seventh film I've watched on this profile and because I'm from 1996 and am fascinated by Pokémon, I grew up watching this film, I even had a VHS tape of this film.
I really wanted to give this film a 10, specifically in the third act, which is based on Ash Ketchum and the original Pokémon, with a wonderful soundtrack, from that point on, all the scenes are emotional, mainly due to the soundtrack.
But there are a lot of mistakes in this film, for anyone who knows the rules of Pokémon, it's very strange to give it a 10.
The errors I can identify:
Pikachu (Electric Pokémon) giving an electric attack to Golem (Earth/Rock Pokémon) (Electric attacks do not hit these types of Pokémon).
Team Rocket managing to stop Dragonite with a frying pan (Dragonite is one of the fastest Pokémon in the world).
Team Rocket seeing the Pokémon Scyther, on the clone screen, but saying it is Alakazan.
Unfortunately, the first generation of Pokémon was marked by several errors in the anime, for example Pikachu winning at Brock's Gym with an electric attack and there are only Rock and Earth type Pokémon there.
But even so, I love this first movie so much, I haven't watched them all yet, but for now this is my favorite Pokémon movie, mainly because of the scene with Ash petrified and all the Pokémon crying.
The Brazilian dubbing of this film is wonderful, especially Guilherme Briggs voicing Mewtwo, which was wonderful and classic.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)
Movie #6
Branca de Neve e os Sete Anões (PT-BR) (1937) Film #6
Continuing my journey of watching or rewatching animated films and making amateur reviews with it.
This is the sixth film I've watched on this profile, it's not one of Disney Animation Studios' best but it was a great start.
I confess that I'm from 1996 and the first time I watched this film was as an adult, I already knew the base story, the dwarves' music and some characters, but because of my family's prejudice (which boy couldn't watch princess film), I only went to see it as an adult, and I was enchanted the first time I watched it, without a doubt it is the most beautiful film that Disney Animation Studios made while Walt Disney himself was alive, but it was not the best movie.
My biggest problem with this movie is the part where the dwarves are singing that they are washing themselves, my mind disconnects too much after that part.
Until this part, the film is wonderful, but then I lose focus and can't really enjoy the film.
I know it's a children's film, but I really don't like it. But even so, my favorite parts of the film are the Evil Queen's transformation and when she's coming down from the dungeon, she kicks the skeleton and asks if it's thirsty (I believe these parts are after the scene I mentioned about their little song if washing, but it's the only part I can connect to after that).
Favorite songs are the classics of the dwarfs and when Snow White is tidying up the house with the animals.
Brazilian dubbing is always amazing, it's practically another film if you watch it in the original language (in fact, it's worse in the original language).
I believe that Snow White is not even in my top 5 Disney princesses.

Ice Age (2002)
Movie #5
A Era do Gelo (PT-BR) (2002) Film #5
Continuing my journey of watching or rewatching animated films and making amateur reviews.
This is the fifth film I've watched on this profile, even though I'm from 1996, I only went to see Ice Age when I was an adult. It's a great film, charismatic and funny characters, Brazilian dubbing as always is perfect (and much better than the original voice) and the main characters are all voiced by Brazilian star talent.
Without a doubt the biggest highlights are Manny, Diego and specifically Sid who is extremely funny.
Diego: has the biggest developmental change among the three main characters, from the moment Manny saves him, and Diego realizes he's doing something wrong.
Manny: There's the saddest moment in the film and it's not even told with words but with images, it was risky but it turned out super good, you can't help but be moved by this scene.
Sid: he's the biggest highlight of this franchise, he's extremely funny, he's undoubtedly my favorite character in this saga and Tadeu Mello voiced him really well, I tried watching it in the original language and I couldn't like it.

Movie #4
FormiguinhaZ (PT-BR) (1998) Film #4
Continuing my journey of watching or rewatching films and making amateur criticisms with it.
This is the fourth film I've watched on this profile and definitely, of the most famous animated film companies, DreamWorks was the one with the worst first film among them.
I don't know if it's because there's no way not to compare it with the similarities between the second film by its biggest competitor at the time (Pixar's A Bug's Life), and the Pixar film is superior in every aspect, be it characters, plot, jokes.
DreamWorks didn't know how to tell stories, it only learned from Shrek, before that it was just a shadow for Disney and Pixar.
I like to highlight the best characters in the films I watch but in this film, I honestly can't, because the only name I remember is Z's but his name is in the title.
The Brazilian dubbing of this film is very good and I wouldn't be able to watch it in the original audio.
I confess that I'm from 1996 and I believe I never watched this film in my childhood/adolescence, maybe that's why I don't have nostalgia and I don't like this film so much, but there are several animated films that I only watched as an adult. And I was enchanted, which was not the case.
A film that is very much in the shadow of its biggest rival, it is very inferior, but it's good that DreamWorks got back on its feet and managed to tell great stories and create original charismatic characters, but it was a bad start for this company.

Continuing my journey by watching or rewatching films and making amateur criticisms with it.
This is the third film I've watched on this profile and I'm in love with the Brazilian dubbing of this film, I'm from 1996 so I grew up watching Leandro Hassum (who dubbed Gru in Brazil) on TV, and in this film he's wonderful, his voice is super suited the character, he was so perfect that he was the only one who got approval to do an accent like the one Steve Carrell did for the character Gru, once again the Brazilian dubbing showing that it is the best (and he doesn't even is a real voice actor).
The comedy in this film is spectacular, there is always something to laugh about, whether through spoken jokes or physical jokes.
Super charismatic characters, specifically Margo, Agnes, Edith, Gru and Vitor (ops VETOOOR).
Margo: the most realistic and mature of the trio of sisters, she has good jokes and is quite intelligent.
Edith: the most mischievous of the trio, she has very funny and sarcastic jokes.
Agnes: Without a doubt she is my favorite character in the saga, she is a dreamy child and has the best jokes in the film, and is very cute.
Vector: has the funniest line in the film, "Vitor is my nerdy name, now it's VETOOOR, AH YEAH", he's a great villain and very funny.
Gru: a great protagonist and anti-hero, very funny, with trauma in front of his mother, great Brazilian dubbing, I can't watch it in the original language because of all the cast involved but Hassum being Gru was wonderful.

Toy Story (1995)
Movie #2
Toy Story (1995) Movie #2
Continuing my journey of watching or rewatching films and making amateur reviews.
This is the second film I've watched on this profile and because I'm from 1996, I grew up watching this film and its sequel a lot and I believe that for me, Pixar is my favorite animation studio.
This film is wonderful, Pixar has already arrived on the market as one of the best animated films ever made and has only evolved over time and perfected its 3D technique.
Everything in this film works, the soundtrack, the characters (as much as I can't love them, as most people do and consequently don't have nostalgia for them, maybe that's why I love the fourth film so much more because they focus on another character, unlike other people who hate the fourth film because they don't focus on the main characters of this film, but even though I don't love these characters, I still love the adventure and the soundtrack of this film), the plot.
The featured characters are Woody, Buzz, Andy and Sid.
Andy: He's not my favorite character in this saga by far but he's very important, even though he's pretty useless.
Sid: The villain of the film, who if we looked deeper into him, he's just a normal kid (not really), who does whatever he wants with toys (even because the toys don't have life, so it's okay ?).
Buzz: The base character of this film, who practically makes everything happen, the Brazilian voice actor Guilherme Briggs, did so well with this character, that I can't watch this film in the original language, because of several of his classic phrases.
Woody: A protagonist who lives on a fine line between a hero and an anti-hero, or even if we were more focused on his selfishness (especially in the beginning) he would even become a better villain than Sid.
My favorite moments in this film are the lines, "You're a Child's Toy" "I'm Dona Marocas", the songs especially when Buzz realizes he's a toy.
As I already wrote in this review, for me it is impossible not to watch this film in Brazilian dubbing because of Guilherme Briggs and several other spectacular voice actors we have.

Coraline (2009)
Movie #1
Coraline e o Mundo Secreto (PT-BR) (2009) Film #1
Starting this profile with the intention of watching or rewatching films and series and then making amateur reviews, I will start by watching only animated films, alternating between the most famous studios.
This is the first film I watched on this profile and because I'm from 1996, this film had a huge impact on my adolescence.
It's a wonderful film, very charismatic characters, an incredible and engaging story, a very good soundtrack, it has one of the best animated villains, and the stop motion technique is very good for making animated horror films.
It can't be any different, the supporting actors are very good but the biggest highlights go to Wilbur's Cat, the Other Mother and Coraline herself.
Wilbur's Cat: a very enigmatic character, who doesn't completely side with anyone.
Another Mother: As I said, she is one of the best villains in animation, you can feel very scared of her.
Coraline: The main character, it couldn't be any different and is the highlight of the film, if someone doesn't like her they probably won't connect with the film, she's a dreamy girl, very intelligent, brave and several other great adjectives, if one day I If I have a daughter, I'll want to dress her up as Coraline at least once.
As always, the Brazilian dubbing of this film is wonderful, everyone is very good in this film, but the biggest highlight is for the voice actress Lina Mendes who was amazing dubbing the protagonist Coraline and I simply can't watch it in the original audio because of her, her voice is very good.
