Piramideu Geim (2024)
Worth Watching When You Have Time to Spare
"Pyramid Game" is a concise series, spanning just 12 episodes, with a plot centered around bullying. The casting is notably effective, as the actors deliver convincing performances. This drama is a suitable choice if you're looking to pass some time. The depiction of bullying is strikingly realistic, although the game element is fictional. Yet, it cleverly illustrates societal dynamics-how the rich gain more power and continue to thrive, while the poor remain oppressed and stuck at the bottom of the pyramid.
Overall, it's a worthwhile watch. If you have some spare time, it's definitely engaging; however, if your time is limited, there might be other priorities for your viewing list.

A Predictable Yet Enticing Watch
From the very first episode of "Queen of Tears," it was evident that this drama boasted a substantial budget, thanks to its cast of A-list actors, including the highly paid Kim Soo Hyun. The early episodes immediately captivated me, leaving me eagerly anticipating the next episode. However, as the series progressed, the storyline became somewhat predictable, which is understandable given its familiar themes. Initially, it presented itself as a pure romantic comedy, but then it introduced a thriller twist-a common element in K-dramas, though I wish they had stuck to purely romantic comedy without venturing into darker themes like murder.
The final episodes felt rushed, as there were numerous unresolved plot points from earlier episodes that deserved more attention. Despite these criticisms(?), "Queen of Tears" was undoubtedly a successful drama, largely carried by its stellar cast. Without these talented actors, I doubt the show would have achieved such popularity. They truly carried the series to its acclaim.

No boring episodes
"Boyhood" is a hidden gem that deserves more recognition. The cast, especially IM SI WAN, delivers exceptional performances, and the story captivates with its consistently engaging plot, effortlessly weaving together moments of joy, pain, and self-discovery. The vintage or retro setting adds to its charm, and the ending authentically portrays the behaviors of boys at that age. Each episode is a compelling chapter in the lives of these boys, filled with humor, drama, and moments of profound insight. Overall, "Boyhood" is a must-watch and earns a spot on any top KDrama recommendation list. This series is a true gem that deserves to be cherished and celebrated..........,

Hi Cookie (2023)
Still a good series to watch
At the start, 'High Cookie' hooks you in with an interesting story. The first few episodes are exciting and keep you engaged. However, towards the end, it starts to feel a bit boring. Personally, I almost didn't finish it and had to push myself to complete it. But the actors do a good job and make the story believable. While I lost some interest towards the end, their performances kept me going. Overall, 'High Cookie' has its ups and downs, but it's worth watching for the acting. If there will be season 2, i wonders if it could inject vitality into a storyline that's barely hanging on. While the narrative struggles, there's a flicker of hope that additional seasons might breathe new life into 'High Cookie.' So, as we wait with bated breath, let's see if the story can find its stride and truly captivate us.
Choeakui Ak (2023)
An Intense Drama That Glues You to the Screen
First off, the casting of Ji Chang Wook and Wi Hajoon as the leads is a stroke of genius in 'Worst of Evil.' They deliver exceptional performances that do justice to the storyline. The series' cinematography and retro settings, seemingly set in the 80s or 90s, add an intriguing layer to the narrative. Placing the story in this era ensures that every scene resonates authentically, making for a compelling viewing experience. This drama is full of violence, but it only adds to the intensity, especially given the nature of the characters as thugs. In conclusion, investing time in this series is truly worthwhile.
The King of Pigs (2022)
Hidden Gem.
The direction of the show is impeccable; from the plot to the characters, and even the actors' performances, everything is top-notch. It effectively portrays the impact of bullying on its victims and their enduring suffering. While the story is fictional, it realistically depicts a scenario that could occur without the revenge killings. It sheds light on how bullies often move on with their lives while their victims continue to struggle. The series is meticulously crafted to captivate viewers, although its lack of virality is regrettable. Nevertheless, this series is a hidden gem. The only gripe I have is the portrayal of the police as slow. Although it serves the narrative, it's a minor annoyance for me. Despite this, the series is well worth my time and certainly didn't disappoint.
Adult Trainee (2021)
Good
Ryeoun's story shines, thanks to strong acting that stays true to the character. However, the drama as a whole falls short. While performances are solid, especially Ryeoun's, the plot lacks depth and struggles to captivate. The pacing feels off, with some episodes dragging and others rushing through crucial moments. Supporting characters are sidelined, leaving their arcs unresolved. Yet, amidst these flaws, there are glimpses of genuine emotion and humor. With tighter writing and more consistent pacing, "Adult Trainee" could have been much more satisfying.
In addition, Yura (actress partnered with ryeoun) totally nails it in "Adult Trainee" with her chill vibe and realness, which totally vibes with Ryeoun's energy. Their chemistry on screen is fire, bringing out the realness in their characters' connection, making you totally root for them. It's like you're watching your own friends go through stuff, you know? Totally authentic and keeps you hooked.
