Pure Fun Should Be Cult Classic
17 July 2021
Tucci steals the film, but the leads arent bad. Very creative, very funny, and great commentary on what it takes to spice up a marriage when kids are involved. Not a great film per se, but great fun...which is often more appealing.

Vintage Footage

A mixed bag. 120,000 bros moshing noghtmariso. Kinda rote jumpy experimental cinematography. And yet there's lots of heart; you learn about the cause and movement and get to see 1996 footage of A Tribe Called Quest, Bjork, Beck, and The Beastie Boys, whose bonus clip of Root Down on the extras is excellent.

An Audiovisual Feast

Stylish, provocative murder mystery set in 1979 Paris. Wholly integrated/non-exploitative normalizing s*x of all kinds. Dildo knives. A visual feast added to an M83 soundtrack!

Thrilling late night ramble that follows a trio of brothers through this magical city with little to no interference by the artists. The extrapolation comes in how the camera eye lingers, on an extreme close up of a bluesman's face, the artistic focusing on a street lamp, the buskers, dreamers, homeless, and tourists. The filmmakers are as dazzled by the wonder of New Orleans and all its citizens, all its treasures as we are. Reminiscent of Little Fugitive. A beautiful, little film.
