Agui kkot (2020)
Absolutely thrilling and fantastic. MASTERPIECE
Those who want a thriller genre, sure you will like this. This series hooked me a lot. The amazing part is the true love of a tough but understanding wife for the mysterious, charming diagnosed as psychopath but not really a psychopath husband. He and his sister are just victims of dark childhood circumstances. What captivated me is the husband and wife playing a game of cat and mouse in discovering the truth about the husband and on the other hand
the husband's mysterious yet manipulative behaviours. The whole cast are great like the beautiful sister, funny reporter, brave and loving wife and most especially I love LeeJoongi's acting style..His elegance and charm captured my attention. Every episode is really suspenseful that glued me till its end. It is worth watching than those romance drama I think.
The K2 (2016)
Thrilling
I'm late but I want to give a review because this is one of my once favourite kdrama during the pandemic time. I actually watched it just because of JiChangwook, my favourite actor. The K2 is a diversion from romantic melodramatic kdramas I'd ever seen. I love JCW doing the fighting as well trained soldier like some of Matt Damon style in Bourne Identity. So cool..
I prefer his connection with madam Choi Yoo Jin than the Anna character. That car accident with madam was incredible scene and that's the beginning of their friendship.
I love their chemistry and I wanted more about them and there shouldn't be Anna character instead there just Kim Je ha and Choi Yoo Jin. I was also engrossed how JeHa achieved his revenge to the one who framed him ,who killed his lover in Iraq. I was hooked in the first episodes seeing JCW defended the cleaner and ended up hiding in the farm. Most especially I love the short scenes in the middle East where he once loved the Iraqi girl. Over all, it's a thrilling and captivating series.
If You Wish Upon Me (2022)
Worth watching it
The roles of selfless warm hearted nurse and the Genie leader plus the transformed orphan with dark past makes the story great and meaningful. The leads and supporting casts are all great in their own roles.
But I wasn't satisfied with the limited scenes of the lead male and orphanage sister. Their relationship is a diversion of the hospital scenes which includes the unnecessary details of the patients' lives. Though their relationship became toxic, it seems it's more interesting if their past were shown a little more. I found CJW more charming playing tough yet supportive to her sister. The funny thing is they has been sleeping together but he never been attracted to her non biological pretty sister. I like their chemistry so there should have at least more development about them in the story.
