Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban PlayStation 2 Review
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban for the PlayStation 2 is my fourth favorite PlayStation 2 game and my fourth favorite video game ever. Comparing this to Chamber of Secrets, it's not as fun, but still offers similar elements like collecting Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans, Wizard Cards, Stink Pellets, other items, learning spells from the challenges professors give you, and a faithful story to the movie. On another hand, there's differences like how the characters run, different main menu and page layout, a Folio Bruti much like the first game, and best of all, you can also play as Hedwig, Hermonie, and Ron!!! Overall, this is another fun entry in the Harry Potter games.
Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy (2001)
Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy Review
Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy is my third favorite PlayStation 2 game and third favorite video game ever. I remember many years ago playing this game when I was young and barely making any progress, not even getting past the first few locations, but it was still fun to make memories. Years later, I finally figured things out and am able to get 100% any time. Every single aspect of this game is masterful. The voice acting is all good, the music is killer, the characters are all likable, the graphics hold up for a PS2 game, the collectibles are fun to get, and my favorite aspect is the wide variety of incredibly detailed locations.
ATV Offroad Fury (2001)
ATV Offroad Fury Review
ATV Offroad Fury is my favorite racing game ever, second favorite video game on the PlayStation 2 and my second favorite video game ever. It has a killer soundtrack (Them Bones, Atlanta, Isolate, etc), loads of memorable tracks to race on, which is most fun in career mode, cool tricks to pull off, other fun modes like freestyle and never ending laps on a track (favorite is Red Rock to go a minute plus ahead of everyone and mess around), different ideas for me to mess around with the bot racers, and best of all, is it most famous for the "Out of Bounds" glitch where you reach the farthest point on any map and it sends you flying all the way back.
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002)
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (PlayStation 2) Review
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets for the PlayStation 2 is my favorite game on that console, as well as my favorite video game of all time. I don't know if this is the very first video I've ever played, but it's definitely up there and I'm glad I grew with it. Since childhood, I've played this game nonstop, going through the story, collecting all of the collectibles, avoiding/killing enemies that stand in my way, and discovering new things over the years. As a massive Harry Potter fan, I'm so happy this video game is in my life and will continue to play it so many more times, that being until I'm dead.
