Covjek koga treba ubiti (1979)
How the devil turned to the good side
An excellent film that shows the very core of manhood and heroism of the people of Montenegro, which managed to turn even the devil for good. The definition of manhood and heroism was set by Duke Marko Miljanov Popovic Drekalovic, from the Kuchi tribe. According to him, manhood is when we defend others from ourselves, while heroism is when we defend ourselves from others. In this film, that doctrine is skillfully packaged with the brotherhood among the Montenegrin tribes, that even the devil's agent cried and realized what a dirty game Satan is playing in Hell. The film is a perfect artistic conception of a historical event: the arrival of the false emperor Scepan the Little in Cetinje, who presented himself as the Russian emperor Petar III, and his coronation as the emperor of Montenegro. The only problem is that there is little mocking of the clergy in the film, probably because the Communists were in power at the time of the film's production. Overall, the movie is very good and worth watching. All recommendations and praise for this film.
