Sword Art Online: Stacia, Goddess of Creation (2019)
Kirito grows his harem effortlessly
In this episode we get to see yet more women fawn over kirito. As if the large group of women that regularly get together to discuss him in vr aren't enough, we now see the fruits of kirito saving more women in the underworld and how they are now, inevitably attached to him indefinitely.
Although this time there seems to be a bit of contention between the women as they all fight for who has known him longer etc etc. He's not even doing anything! He is a vegetable who is being cared for and is somehow winning the hearts of all who come near him. My man is playing the greatest long term pickup game the world has ever seen. Thankfully Asuna is still winning obvs cos he's a loyal boy and she doesn't compare with the other lasses.

Great opening episode
This is the definition of what an opening episode should be like. It picks up slightly later on but not too far on to feel disconnected, fills you in on whys happened since then. Isn't super intense or fast pace but neither is it just laying groundwork boringly.
The dynamic between Alice and kirito and the way people view them and the situation is done superbly well. You get more dragons (love that) and what they did with kirito was genius, really heart-wrenching but logical stuff.
You get an idea of how there is a bigger picture and wider world out there, it's very satisfying and makes things feel real the way the government is now being run.
Lots of mystery and suspense is still left, you're left waiting knowing kirito will rise yet again but at the same time you completely feel for the guy. All he's been through, all the confusion and sorrow he must feel from being trapped in multiple worlds for many years at this point. Losing Eugio now as well is hard but they don't let you forget him in this episode with clever hints to him which is nice.
The character development is some of the best in the series, even in just this episode you can see Alice' growth and overall the feel between the interactions of people seems far more relatable and immersive in comparison to the rest of the series.
Also a great ending song.

Lazy writing
Yeah basically what the other review says. The last four or five episodes of this season are really quite poor for various reasons but this episode is the worst. It's just a bit ridiculous and stupid to be honest. Just watched it and came right here to leave a review because I was so shocked at how silly and mental they decided to make that episode. It's like they ran out of ideas and picked several cliche ideas out of hat that were thought of by children and just mashed them together somehow. I shall now proceed to type until I have fulfilled my required six hundred characters for this review.
