An American Carol (2008)
Great humor about some serious truths
I am a Kelsey Grammar fan, so I wanted to see him almost as much as I wanted to see the left smeared. I wasn't disappointed a bit on either count! This movie delivered the laughs and it delivered the truth. Kevin Farley really was hilarious in his role. I haven't seen this much to laugh at in one movie in years. I particularly enjoyed seeing the terrorists being characterized as fools, which they are.
I can see how a humorless liberal might take offense at these painful (to them) truths, but too bad. Those of us of the conservative persuasion have to put up with liberal biased garbage on TV, at the movies and on the news day in and day out. What a refreshing break this was to see the shoe on the other foot for change.
Go see this movie and have a good laugh. Look at the comments and the number of people who have given this a 10 star rating. There is a good reason for this. You need to go to the theater and find out for yourself.
Believe in Me (2006)
Good Guys Do Win .....Sometimes!
I really enjoyed seeing this movie about a man I am acquainted with. It is an uplifting kind of movie that makes one feel good and helps restore one's faith in people. Jim (Coach) Keith is such a fine man it really made my day to see a portion of his life, that I was unaware of, brought to the screen for others to appreciate. I cannot claim to know the Coach well, but I worked several years where he coached in the late 70's and he was and is quite a good natured gentleman and a pleasure to be around. I hope in time this movie will get a lot of play on TV so others can appreciate the character of this fine man. It is a great family movie and if you are needing a lift then watch this movie. You will be glad you did!
