Close (I) (2022)

Incredible masterpiece!!
10 May 2023
Close is amazing (and that's a huge understatement) it's perfect to the core. The cinematography is beautiful the story line is tragic and the acting is superb!

It follows the story of a young boy called Leo and his friend Remi they have a beautiful (seemingly) unbreakable friendship. But that all goes down hill when the horrible children at their school start making assumptions about them and claiming the relationship to be more than it is.

Close is the best film of 2022 (in my humble opinion) and truth be told I cried three hours straight after watching it because it truly is heartbreaking!

I AM NOT OK with the fact this show ended!
17 April 2023
I am not ok with this is a great programme about a girl who has anger issues and when ever she has a small fit of rage strange things start happening. Wether it be the room shaking or objects floating it is clear something isn't right.

I really liked this programme. The acting was incredible, the cinematography and colours were really nice, the soundtrack is cool and the characters were really likeable.

I read the comic and the programme is WAY better I don't know how they read that comic and made such an incredible programme out of it.

The only thing I really didn't like about it was the fact season 2 got cancelled it was such a great show and they went and cancelled it.

Although I don't like that aspect of the show i still say it's worth the watch and I definitely recommend!

Absolutely breathtaking!

When I watch sequels to movies that are a big hit I mostly find them to be dull and not even half as good as the first. However Avatar 2 was quite the opposite it was just as good if not even better than the first! After 13 years of waiting James Cameron has certainly out done himself with his beautiful visuals, deep characters and a good story line, Avatar 2 is not even a film at this point it's more like an experience. As I'm sure you've probably heard the visual effects and cinematography are STUNNING, that is an understatement in 13 years the visuals have come a LONG way! Only 10 minutes into the film and I forgot that the 10 feet tall blue aliens weren't cgi they looked so life like it was crazy. I would definitely recommend watching this movie to anyone!

The Goldfinch (2019)
7/10
Enjoyable film! Deserves a higher rating

The gold finch is a very under rated film when I watched it I found it to be really heartwarming as well and the casting is incredible! The film is about a boy who visits an art gallery with his mom unfortunately the gallery falls victim to a bombing and his mum is killed. In panic he accidentally steals this painting that was given to him by a dying man, the painting is the Goldfinch. He then temporarily moves in with a wealthy family named the Barbers and meets a lot of new friends along the way. This film I found to be really enjoyable and that acting was really good and naturalistic. Not to mention the beautiful and eye catching cinematography! Definitely a great watch, I would recommend!

Stand by Me (1986)

Exceptional and unforgettable

This film is nothing short of a masterpiece!

If you haven't seen stand by me you're missing out.

Stand by me is a beautiful coming of age film about four boys that go on a hunt for a local missing child who died by getting hit by a train. They encounter a lot of struggles along the way such as Chopper, a "feral" dog and Ace and his gang of bullies.

It has joyous moments and upsetting moments but at the heart of the film is pure joy and nostalgia. The acting is incredible and I really like the colours and cinematography. Definitely one of the best adaptations from Stephen Kings work. I would recommend to anyone!
