The Walking Dead (2010–2022)

Seasons 1-6 are amazing but it goes down hill after that.

I've been binge watching this show since December last year and I had been enjoying it, but when I started watching season 7 the drop in quality really started to show. Since there are so many seasons I will only review the best and worst season of the show.

Best: Season 2 - many people found this seasons very boring and slow but I really like this season. It has the best character writing and writing overall, some of the best episodes this show has produced, best acting, and the best group like I said my personal favourite season 10/10.

Worst: Season 8 - I don't necessarily hate this seasons but I sure don't love it, its very slow and boring, has some of the worst episodes of the show, the writing and character writing is awful, and they killed off one the best characters the show has left. Its just a very under whelming and disappointing season 7.5/10.

Apart from some minor problems this show is still pretty good 8/10 (written by nancarrowcasey)

Maximum Overdrive (1986)

an underrated gem, with lots of explosions and blood.

This movie is so underrated, do not listen to the morons giving this movie bad reviews. Its not even a bad movie. It has everything you want from a hybrid horror, action comedy movie.

Positives: it has lots of blood and shocking scenes, the most shocking scene being something to do with a steam roller... (if you watched the movie you know what I mean...) there are lots of amazing and well done explosions and practical stunts through out the whole movie which make the movie even more enjoyable. And don't get me started on the amazing soundtrack made BY AC-DC! Unfortunately they where never released on an album which is a real shame. The main characters are funny and likable and for the most part are good at acting, but sometimes the characters have lines that are just written stupidly I'll get into that soon. The cinematography is pretty good too considering the cinematographer sadly lost his eye while filming the lawn mower scene.

Negatives: like I said up above some of the lines the characters say are poorly written and don't make sense which kind of takes away from the experience, the only bad acting is the scene with drunk Wanda June and her yelling at the trucks.

Five Nights at Freddy's (2023)

pretty good movie.

I was not a five nights at Freddy's fan at the time of watching this movie but despite what everyone said about only fans liking this movie, I actually really liked this movie.

Positives: it has great special effects, good acting/actors, some solid kills for a pg-13 horror movie, the soundtrack is amazing, the cinematography and the camera work is really well done. Despite me not being a fan I still understood some of the Easter eggs from the games, I also loved the sibling dynamic between the main characters Mike and Abby, they are likable characters and you actually care for them, Venessa and and Steve raglan/William Afton, are also good characters.

Negatives: despite me liking this movie it still has its flaws, and one of them is that its not that scary, sure it has its creepy uncomfortable moments, but that rarely happens, the animatronics could have been more aggressive and scarier. And another problem is the cringe annoying YouTube cameos in this movie, they were unfunny useless and dumb scenes that took away from my experience.

Stranger Things (2016– )

one of the best tv series I ever watched

Season 1: great start to a amazing show, although it is rather boring compared to the other 3 seasons its still an amazing season. 10/10

Season 2: a very underrated season. Because of one episode (which was actually a good episode) this season is overlooked and is usually ranked by most people as the worst season of the show but this season is a great follow up and is far better than the last season its way more epic, scary and exciting and adds mutable new likable characters to the show. 10/10

Season 3: this is the best season of the show so far, once again it has surpassed the other seasons by a mile, its much scarier and action packed then the other two seasons and is colourful and bright which makes it a stand out, the like I said the best season of the show. 10/10

Season 4: to be honest in some ways this is the best season, it has the best villain, its the scariest, darkest epic and emotional season out of all of them. The only flaw is the dumb hopper in Russia storyline. 10/10.

10/10 This whole show is amazing the soundtrack, the cinematography, the acting, and of course the amazing 80s setting. (written by caseynancarrow)
