Solid show and impressive and engaging performances from the lead
Well, well, well. I started this show without thinking much while I was on Netflix one day. During the time I spent on watching this, I realized this is less a fast-paced solving crimes but very much a slow burn with twists coming at the unexpected times. Some of the plot twists left me in awe and I was captivated by it. Overall, this is a very impressive cast of actors and actresses who all have delivered in their parts. Nobody was bat at acting or made me feel out of the place. Everyone made this story whole. The two male leads are exceptional and their performances were beyond great in this show. The old male lead was exceptional, exceptional and exceptional. I joked about it that he cries every episode starting from ep 5/6 but I never felt he was weak or whiny. His character didn't experience too much growth but endured so much sorrow. The actor did really really well on this role. The young male lead was also very impressive, and he delivered all the character growth. Even though he is slightly less in terms of acting compared to the old male lead, he still did a fantastic job. This show is not easy on these actors. There are times things moving not as fast, but then you get very explosive or very emotional scenes. Sometimes, they are even "too" dramatic compared to real life. But! They all fit the story line so well. Overall, I would recommend anyone to watch this show. It is simply a great time!

Pretty solid male lead but the female 3rd was abysmal
The lead trio is quite uneven. The story gets draggy. The old male detective was a good lead. I can see the struggle, the battle within his eyes when he is trying to decide which way to go. His performance was solid. The young male detective was second. I would like to see a bit more explosiveness in his performance, but overall not bad acting. The female lead, well, that's the whole reason I feel I need to write a review. She is very pretty and it ended there. From the very beginning, her acting just wasn't catching up with others. There is no noticeable difference in her performance, facial expressions in terms of being happy, sad, shocked, annoyed. She has one facial expression and that was all. Every time the camera pointed to her, I was like...well...you need to act! Stop just saying words. All the normal human reactions when a reporter hearing things, I don't see it.
