Mubing (2023)
Fresh Take On Superhero Genre
This series is so good that I can't express it. I have watched many Korean, Jap, English and American series that are not based on thriller, mystery and crime genre and can still be very much engaging and binge worthy, this is one of those shows.
I can easily recommend it to anyone without having second thoughts. Not being a mystery-thriller and still being able to grip us to the show is really something I appreciate about it.
Screenplay, Story, Plot are top notch.
If you're into Korean content it's a must watch.
If you're tired of the same old superhero movies and TV shows, check out Moving on Disney+. It's a fresh take on the genre that's way better than Secret Invasion and recent Marvel projects.
Parallèles (2022)
Dark but not complicated and enjoyable.
The show I recently watched was truly engaging and interesting. It captivated my attention from the very first episode and kept me hooked until the end. One aspect that stood out to me was the short and crisp nature of each episode. Unlike other series that tend to drag certain scenes or storylines, this show managed to maintain a perfect balance, ensuring that every moment was meaningful and contributed to the overall narrative.
One of the key strengths of the show was its screenplay. The writing was exceptional, and the way the story unfolded was truly remarkable. The plot was filled with twists and turns that constantly kept me on the edge of my seat. What impressed me the most was how the writers managed to present a somewhat complicated concept in a way that even a 10-year-old could understand. It was a testament to their storytelling prowess and their ability to make complex ideas accessible to a wide range of viewers.
The last episode of the series was undoubtedly the best. It brought all the plot threads together and delivered an unforgettable climax. The revelations and resolutions in this final installment were both satisfying and surprising. It tied up loose ends while leaving room for interpretation, allowing viewers to ponder and discuss the intricacies of the story long after the episode ended. The culmination of events was truly mind-blowing and left me in awe of the show's creators.
Beyond its mind-bending concept, the show also explored the theme of family bonding. Amidst all the intricate time travel and parallel universes, the emotional core of the series remained the relationships between the characters. The way the show portrayed the complexities and dynamics of familial connections was truly touching. It highlighted the importance of love, loyalty, and sacrifice, reminding us of the power and significance of the bonds we share with our loved ones.
For those who enjoyed shows like Dark but found its complexity overwhelming, this series is a perfect choice. While it deals with similar themes of time travel and interconnectedness, it presents them in a more accessible and understandable manner. The show strikes a delicate balance between thought-provoking concepts and an engaging narrative, making it enjoyable for a wide range of viewers.
In conclusion, the show I recently watched was an absolute gem. With its engaging and interesting plot, short and crisp episodes, and exceptional screenplay, it managed to captivate me from start to finish. The last episode, in particular, stood out as the best, providing a satisfying and mind-blowing conclusion. Despite dealing with a somewhat complicated concept, the show's creators skillfully presented it in a way that even a young audience could grasp. Furthermore, the exploration of family bonding added an emotional depth to the series. If you're looking for a show that combines an intriguing concept with accessibility, this is a must-watch.
