Big Vape: The Rise and Fall of Juul (2023)
Doc completely ignores crucial fact.
I smoked cigarettes for 27 years and they were killing me. I always stunk, bad breath, yellow teeth, social outcast, can't stay at events too long, etc. I was probably going to get lung disease and die. I did literally everything possible to quit and couldn't. Everything.
I tried vape ONCE and never smoked a cigarette again. I'm going to live now and I am beyond grateful.
I'm sorry that Gen Z is getting addicted to nicotine. HOWEVER, burning tobacco was causing the death of both boomers and gen X. This doc barely mentions the millions of lives saved by vaping products and it's a shame. It's like we don't even matter.
And Just Like That... (2021)
My Favorite. LOVED it (Season 1 Review)
I couldn't relate to Sex in the City when I was 18 yo but fast forward to 42 yo And Just Like That is just about perfect.
This show has made me laugh, and cry, and reminisce and cope. Cope with aging and accept how fast time is flying and how much things have changed since the 90s. Cope with being sexy and young late 20s to now becoming a "ma'am".
I love the way they are different but like me stuck in time, Carrie still carrying her real books, Charlotte not understand the pro-nouns, Miranda being so naive about so much.
I love the way it speaks on heavy topics and then the next moment I am laughing out loud and running to the bathroom. I thought I would hate this but I love it:).
