Forever Rich (2021)
Based on a true story?
When I first saw the trailer I was struck by how immensely similar it was to a case in my country recently. Someone involved in the film must have read Swedish newspapers... After watching the movie all I can think is that they should have stuck to the true story. It would have been a more interesting film. It was still a decent movie though.
Stockholm (2018)
Why???!!!
I'm so confused. I was expecting a biopic, it is not! Why? It's an interesting story on it's own. And if you wanted to do it all Hollywood, why would you hire so many nordic actors and then do the entire movie in broken english. What a missed opportunity.
Slasher (2016)
Season 2 is waaaay better!
Season 1 was not very good (4/10). So if you like horror/slasher-shows skip it and go straight into season 2 (7/10). It's not perfect but really entertaining and I love the fact that we get you but the pieces together to try and figure out who the killer is.
I really wish IMDb will give us the option to rate season individually soon. It's much needed with all these anthology-series.
Busanhaeng (2016)
Absolutely flawless
(If my English is not flawless, sorry. Second languish)
A tiny tiny bit of spoilers!
Firt of, there are two kind of zombie-movies. The one where the zombies are slow, instinct-based. The second one is where the zombies are like rabid dogs. This movie is the latter. Whichever one you prefer, it kinda doesn't matter because that isn't the most important part of this movie. What is, is how fast you start to care for the characters, which is where most horror-movies fail. And the writers has been really smart here. We have the father and his daughter, the pregnant woman and her husband and the elderly sisters. All of which, we as human are naturally inclined to wanna protect. Therefore we care!
Train to Busan is fast paced, thrilling with non-stop action. This movie sailed right to the top of my all time favorite zombie-movies and to the top 10 of my favorite horror-movies. Absolutely flawless!
