Ghosted (2023)
Strangely uninteresting and tries too hard
Romance, Action and Comedy is a genre everyone walks into with low expectations and a generally a low bar to hurdle. When it's done right, or decently well, you might find a couple of golden nuggets, True Lies, Jungle Cruise.
This film on the other hand... lacked the important ingredient that holds this bizarre combination together; and that was chemistry. Weird childish banter that isn't funny.. oddities that proved totally unbelievable (Chris Evans as the needy dude and Ana as a killing machine/spy). While I am a big fan of Ana, I admittedly cannot stand Chris Evans. He's the same vanilla character in everything. He is not attractive enough to play the good looking untalented protagonist (which for reason he keeps getting cast for...) All-in-all it wasn't fun, nor was it funny. The obvious attempt to add flavor with cameos of Avenger characters and other actors of quality felt forced, thoughtless and a last ditch effort to cobble something of entertainment together. Nothing could save this boring movie. Not even better dialogue..
I'm not exactly sure what I just watched... nor how this flick's runtime got us to two hours.
In summary... lengthy, slow, painful and uninteresting.

Amazing cinematography- incredible piece of history brought to life
I urge you to disregard the reviews and give this film a chance. Unfortunately, politics and nationalistic extremism have overtaken the ratings resulting in severely biased negative reviews. A historically necessary film depicting a reality all too often buried and forgotten. This movie offers powerful acting that takes you on multilingual journey to a beautiful city that once prospered, and the subsequent events (and characters) that led to its brutal and barbaric demise. You are transported to a time and place that most of of us have never and will never know, and that alone is worth two hours of your time.
