Changeland (2019)
I couldn't even get through it.
I'm sorry, I love Seth Green but OMG this is such a boring movie. I get what everyone is saying about it being a beautiful friendship, coming of age, blah blah blah. But, this is not a comedy as it is categorized. I had high Hope's because its Seth Green, but man I couldn't take anymore of the mopping and feeling sorry for themselves crap. This is all fine but if it's a comedy then sprinkle this content in with the comedy. I'm sure many people will like the overall message and "wonderful friendship", but probably not those of us that are expecting a few laughs or at the very least a few chuckles along the way.
The Drop (2022)
Waste of time and Cringe doesn't even cover it.
I had hoped this "comedy" would have 'some' funny moments, however there literally are less than 5 "funny" parts, if you would even call them funny. Its beyond cringe and boring. I couldn't care less what happens to the characters or their relationships. Most of the characters are less than likeable and I don't find obnoxious or sexual humor to be appealing. #SPOILER# there is a teenager that is sex obsessed and makes advances towards the adults. He even jacks off during the rehearsal dinner, while talking to his adult (former) babysitter, its disgusting. But apparently it's supposed to be hilarious. It litterally was the longest 92 minutes, couldn't wait for it to end.
Christmas vs. The Walters (2021)
Seriously horrible movie
The movie just dragged on! It's not funny or entertaining, even the "drama and comedy skits" are boring as heck. Seriously boring, the drama was incredibly mundane, it's like watching a kid trying to throw a fit without actually crying. Everything just seemed forced and unnatural. The actors didn't even seem to want to be there. They litterally seemed like "is the scene done? Cool, I got a thing to get to"
Honestly it's not worth the time to watch. It litterally felt like a 3 or 4 hour movie, it just seemed to keep going and there's nothkng to keep your attention. Sorry if that's mean, it's just the truth.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022)
Awesome movie
This is a beautiful tribute to Chadwick. The opening and ending credits are very touching. No one could ever replace him, or even come close to him. And they aren't trying to. MCU is showing how Wakanda and his family try to move forward after the loss of their King. Watch it with an open mind, and you'll appreciate the film and new story line. The MCU honors their friend in the most memorable way. And those of us that loved the character and Chadwick as an actor can share in that tribute to him. Bottom line this film has everything a MCU film needs, action, drama, comedy and unfortunately for this one an emotional pull. Yet after losing Chadwick one would expect this film to be as such.
The Winchesters (2022)
Unbelievably disappointing
I'm very disappointed in this prequel. None of the story line makes sense. I was picking it apart without effort. You can't rewrite the Winchester's history! You have to caiter your prequel to their established story. Yes you can bring new things to light about the characters and explain other lesser known characteristics or life events, but you can't completely rewrite their lives to fit your current narrative.
I honestly have no interest in the Mary and John "love" story. Never have. In fact I found "their" episodes in the Supernatural show to be boring. I knew their back story had a place and needed to be known. But a whole show that focuses on them, not interesting to me. I couldn't stand Mary and the more she was on the show, the less I watched. I was not a fan of Claire either and the "Mary" of this prequel is almost exactly like Claire, unlikable and irritating to watch.
I would of had more of an interest in John's or even Samuel's story, considering they were both a hunter. How did Samuel get started? What were John's experiences? Better yet, if they did John's hunting story, they could go into detail of all the hunters of his time, including Bobby, Ellen and every other hunter, medium or ally.
And where is Sam?! Dean did not make the Supernatural show what it is on his own. It was BOTH of them.
