Crimson Peak (2015)
I guessed every "twist" within the first 10 minutes of this movie
Not to be cliche, but if I could rate this movie 0/10 I would. So many great actors, so many poor choices that came into making this movie. The only thing I didn't guess was how many times Thomas had been married previously or how horrible most of Edith's costumes would be. And just so much gore for the sake of being gory, almost none of it was done well. The special effects were a pretty decent mix of horrible and well animated, but I feel bad for the crew that had to make them xD. Also, why did they try to kill the dog? That was just to let us know they were crazy people and had no point in the story. They literally could have just said "oh yeah, I thought it'd be a nice surprise for you" or literally anything else.
2 Years of Love (2017)
This is one of the worst movies you'll ever see
The tag line of the movie gives the entire plot away, so I feel silly tagging this as "spoiler". Don't watch this movie. The writing is horrible, the characters are sooooo poorly written. Especially the main character Samantha, she is completely unsympathetic. She was so poorly & cliché-Ly written. "A strong, boss lady wants a kid but her looser actor husband doesn't feel like he's ready for the responsibility of having a kid" is supposed to make us root for her? Seriously?! The entire movie is her & her friends bullying him into having a kid when he's not ready and trying to set himself up with a career so he can provide. HOW IS HE THE VILLAIN?! How am I supposed to root against him? I wanted them to divorce and I don't know why I finished this movie. The husband tries to explain to his wife (who's a psychiatrist or therapist or something on a radio show) his feelings and his point of view and she constantly throws it back in his face until he leaves and then she cries that he abandons her?
Sam was a b!-- and whatever the husband's name is deserves better. She has an emotional affair with his fake radio personality and then suddenly he's ready for fatherhood bc "she believes he's ready". If the roles were reversed, this movie never would have been green lit.
